I think Rallys, which I didn't even 'discover' till this year is one of thectwo best, seemingly clean and well run fast food burger establishnents In aware of. And based on my preferred burger purchase (a single patty no cheese with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion) they are also among the least expensive. The.meat pleases me( I prefer flame broiled and they arent, are they?) but they strike me as very pleasingly close, and accoutrements are centrally placed, neither naked or slathered with too.much flop and are of quality: the lettuce crisp, tomato actually red and not mushy, the pickle actual has a bit of crispness and ....well I like them a lot. Im not a fry eater so.I won't wade in there but inaddition to soft drinks and god knows whatelse, they have these 'smoothies'one a Bahama something that tastes of pineapple and coconut that I enjoy a fair amount. I'm didn't live near the Rallys I know to be at Bullarf and first, but once aware I found reasons to be over there and am pleased to be currently contemplating a move to the area. I like Rallys a fair amount and Im quite annoyed there are so relatively few of them while the town is lousy...
Read moreWhile the drive-thru is undeniably efficient, the real star here is the consistently perfect fry game. First off, the speed of the drive-thru is a bonus, because it means you get those fries piping hot. Seriously, they're served at the ideal temperature, which is crucial for maximizing the crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside experience. They manage to keep the line moving, so your order is fresh and ready. Now, let's talk about the fries themselves. These aren't your average, limp fast-food fries. They're consistently golden brown, with a satisfying crunch that gives way to a fluffy, potatoey interior. The seasoning is spot-on, a perfect balance of salt and whatever magic they sprinkle on them. You can tell they pay close attention to their fryers, because the texture and color are always uniform. It's clear that the Rally's on Bullard takes pride in their fries. Whether you're ordering a small side or a heaping pile, you can expect them to be cooked to perfection. The consistent quality is what keeps me coming back. Yes, the drive-thru is fast, and the chicken is reliably good, but those fries? They're the reason I...
Read moreOk. I'm gonna try to be nice here. Asian guy took my order today. I told him rally burger no onion and chicken sandwich for the $6 deal, make it a meal. He asked what size and what kind of drink, I said coke zero, small. " can I please have ketchup and ranch. I pay $10.70. I receive my burgers and drink, no fries. I asked him why, he said he only charged me for the drink. I said it's ok, clear miscommunication and I'll pay for the fries separately because I know fast food doesn't do refunds. I pay $3.50 ( or close to it) for small fries. I had to ask for ketchup and ranch again. I turn back around because something wasn't making sense. I asked him, " $6 and $4 upgrade is = $10, did I miss something as to why I didn't get fries?" He said the drink is separate, a whole 4 dollars for a small drink apparently ( I rarely eat out) , but anyway, I left without giving him any trouble, but when I open my burger, guess what, there's onions. Yall are really hard hearing. This is why I don't eat out. I hate confronting people when they make too many mistakes. I was too upset, didn't eat my meal. Just gave it someone...
