The atmosphere and service was good but it's better that I review it in this way since I don't want my experience to be viewed as harshly negative. Spicy Miso soup: 14$ if I remember correctly -Spice level that doesn't hit you hard. So be sure to ask for more if you are getting this soup. -Chashu charred and easy to pull apart and flavorful -Egg was actually really nice and this place gives you both half's -Menma good nice and soft mouth feel -Seaweed added to the broth and made it interesting otherwise it was missing spices or a little ramen pepper. -Corn I liked it but some hard pieces of cob were still in the soup but at least it's fresh and had a good sweetness -Green onions were present -Noodles were possibly the weakest part of the soup and didn't have no bounce nor wavy to pick up the broth or much of the onions. The thickness was more on the thin side of things. -Final recommendation is to pick and choose the good parts of the soup while you eat otherwise it will be a flat experience. Yaki Ramen: Overall a good meal and has a good amount of ingredients throughout the dish. Most bites had a good sized shrimp in it larger than a quarter. The noodles stood up better as a pan fry and I don't know if they reuses this same noodle for the ramen but the cabbage and furikaki flakes were nice and refreshing. The sauce didn't distract from anything and added to the experience. Servers were nice and provided some extras and were very nice. They provided a good amount of extras to make the soup worthwhile. I think šŸ¤” the only negative I could give is that they did check to see if we did get water from the self service machine twice. Bathrooms are spotless and nice šŸ‘ Note: I only review dishes compared to other ramen places

Woah! Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be this good. Let's start with the first thing I think needs work, that would be the location. And it isn't the companies fault by any means. It has to do with the new shopping location and not many people knowing about it. The amotoshpere of the restaurant, it gives off a very calm and Cafe style feel. The seats are well spaced out as well! Huge win in my book for sure. The Waitress (Mai, thank you, by the way! Amazing service!) make the entire experience amazing and work with us since it was me and my wife's first time ordering and eating from here. And now to the good stuff! The food was amazing. The broth tasted amazing and homemade and not from a packet or container. It has almost a savory taste to it that makes you want to eat more! Delicious! We ordered #1 and #2 Takayoki and fried crab Loved everything. Btw best Takayoki I've had by far in fresno County, soft and yet crunchy with Bonita flakes! šŸ”„ has octopus in it, fyi if you didn't know. Everything was great! My wife's new favorite place to eat now and for sure will be my top 5 places to go out of my way to drive just to eat now! Thank you for the great food and experience! Keep it up! I hope the best for this company!

I am really sad to say that I am dissatisfied with my experience here. I didn't realize that it is more of a fast food place. Also, keep in mind it is next to a movie theater so even late in the evening there are a lot of families with kids running around. We ordered the cheesy deep fried potato as an appetizer which was really tasty. Gyoza here is made with chicken, not pork so I skipped it. We also ordered a slice of their Japanese cheesecake souffle. As a baker, this cake was very dense and meh. Either it deflated on them after baking or an after effect of refrigeration. I wouldn't mind coming back for appetizers and maybe a drink. With that said, I came for the ramen. Tonkotsu ramen was made with thin noodles. Not my first choice, but okay. The bamboo shoots were super tough. I know a lot of commercial ones are canned, maybe I got some bad ones? Who can say. Finally, the broth makes or breaks the ramen, and sad to say this tonkotsu was so bland. Tonkotsu is rich and flavorful and this was just a big bowl of sadness. I did not finish this bowl.

šŸ‘ŽšŸ»Ordered custom soup with double veggies and bean sprouts. They don’t disclose on the app that they will just double up the 1 item you picked (of course for an extra cost). Literally not one veggie was in there other than the bean sprouts. The cost of my custom soup was over $17 for a bowl of nothing but noodles and bean sprouts. Not even one scallion floating around.

I call for clarification as to what am I not comprehending and that’s when I find out the item you pick is just doubled.. so no it’s definitely not double veggie like in pictures. If you pick mushrooms then you will get double mushrooms and so forth.

So disappointing… šŸ˜” & I feel totally bamboozled as the pictures look great! I’m thinking my soup will come double with these veggies as they show online. If not better cuz it’s ā€œcustomā€ with the extra cost… šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø but as I think more about it the more I’m confused.

FYI: it only allows you to pick 2 things to add in your ā€œcustomā€ soup order in this particular section aside from your noodle option on the app. So the items are šŸ˜’ mushrooms, bamboo, sprouts, etc.

ā€œExtra veggiesā€ was my 2nd option and counts as 1 of the 2 options right? And you pay extra.. I don’t understand why I’m paying extra for the same item when you give 2 free option choices?

My second option could of been mushrooms with no extra charge. Bamboo shoots, no extra charge. Why can’t option one and two be the same thing if you have 2 choices? Why, if the same, you pay more? Same, same, different, but same.

So don’t use the app just call it in if you do order. Overall.. It will be better to stick to more authentic locally owned...
