We arrived here at 9:45 pm to a full restaurant. We ordered two main dishes and one appetiser and were told to take a seat. At 10:40, after waiting for an hour, we had still not been served. The table next to us was informed by the server that their food would be there soon but we weren’t. When I asked how long it would take, they said another 10 minutes. I politely said we had been waiting for an hour and were hungry and the server said they were backed up. 5 minutes later a party of 5 on the table next to us received multiple plates of food. At 10:50, the server came up to us and asked us to take our food to go since they close at 11. We were only a party of 2 and did not understand this.
We were so frustrated and disappointed and saddened by this. We were made to wait for over an hour for food at a table. This food was supposed to be served in the restaurant. We were asked to leave even though a bigger group was eating next to us. The restaurant had multiple opportunities to tell us that the food was taking longer than expected yet they didn’t. Even 10 minutes before being asked to take the food to go, we were assured we would be served in 10 minutes.
We will never come here again and don’t recommend it to...
Read moreSuper excited to try this new place. My husband and I eat Indian food fairly often and we were disappointed with the portion sizes especially with the butter chicken. Very little chicken served. I received the dal Makhani and it tasted delicious but both my husband and I woke up today not feeling very well. His stomach is upset. I’m pregnant and have had diarrhea and throwing up several times today.
One thing I think people should caution is do not eat at Indian restaurants that have Buffet style because you don’t know how long they’re allowing it to sit there. Thinking about this I now prefer eating fresh Indian food that takes 30 minutes to make. (Which we usually do).
Also the menu is quite misleading where it says you can add an additional garlic naan-for $.99. We wanted plain naan -and were charge $.99 for it and when I confronted the cashier they said it’s $.99 regardless although the menu did not reflect that.
Very nice people, the food did taste good, but unfortunately it’s left me with a stomach bug and my husband also beginning to have symptoms. Eat food freshly made that takes 30 minutes to come to your table is the safest...
Read moreAmazing food. Fresh, best ingredients and amazing flavor. We spoke with the chef. He has cooked for India Royalty and all over the world and the US. Natural fresh ingredients and pride in the food being prepared. My wife and I aren’t new to Indian cuisine and we know good from bad and this was excellent. Indian food is an explosion of flavor, sweet, Spicy, tangy and each bite should leave you excited for the next. We went for lunch and ended up having several items. The Samosa’s and accompanying dipping sauces were amazing. The chicken Tikka Masala had fresh onions, bell peppers and cubed white meat chicken in a perfect masala. You could really taste the fresh vegetables which is different than any other We’ve eaten. It was great. The lentils were Smokey tasting which again was different. I’m not sure what the secret to that was but it gave them so much more flavor. The Naan Bread was cooked in a clay oven and garnished with garlic and butter. It was the best Indian meal we’ve...
