My Tea Corner — Restaurant in Fresno

My friends and I heard about this new boba place opening and we were excited to try this one. I will say that they were rather quick for a Sunday afternoon and that the store was very aesthetically pleasing and clean. However, my friends and I were very disappointed by the overall drink quality and lack of menu variety. We ordered a classic milk tea and a taro ube milk tea both with boba. The classic came out with no boba in it (despite being ordered with boba) and when we tried both drinks they were grainy. The classic milk tea tasted like coffee and bad milk, and maybe it's meant to taste like coffee but we were unaware of that and were rather caught off guard by the taste. The taro ube milk tea had generally good flavor, but the texture ruined the entire thing for us and we ended up throwing both drinks away. In terms of the menu, there are some interesting and fun drinks on the menu but the options are still rather lacking and that was disappointing as well. Overall, the drinks weren’t great and were super both super grainy and I would guess that the taro one was grainy due to the fresh taro they supposedly use but the fact that the classic milk tea was grainy as well makes me think that all their milk teas are...

Highly recommend! Tried this place for the first time tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered popcorn chicken with spicy sauce, and a Passionfruit tea with boba (half sweet). My food and drink came in in less than 5 minutes! The popcorn chicken was a large serving, and spicy sauce was yummy. Food was hot and I could tell it had just been prepared. The tea was great! Flavor in the passion fruit syrup is really good, it doesn’t just taste like sugar - very fruity and half sweet was perfect for me. The boba is super yummy with a perfect texture. I love that they make it fresh. The owner (I assume? Or manager) came by and asked how everything was. She was so kind and sweet and talked with me about the importance of freshness and how they prioritize preservative-free ingredients. Inside is very cute and clean, they even have games and a little kid-sized table. Lots of space to sit or even come...

I came in here for the very first time it was 9:53 pm .. I believe they closed 10pm .. young lady that was there at the moment seen us walk in and did not greet us. She walked to the back then decided come towards the front .. she just looked at us very unhappy didn’t even bother ask what type of drinks we liked or looking for or recommended anything to us .. when my daughter finally decided what drink she wanted .. she walked away didn’t say anything.. once she was finished with the drink she didn’t bother to let us know …she literally just walked to front left drink by the front and walked away .. I can’t believe how horrible her service was .. if the owner gets to read this review I suggest you hire someone that’s actually their because they like their job .. won’t be back to...
