My friend and I went there tonight and she had never been in that location before so on the way to the register, we browsed the Cricut isle and she picked up 2 blades that were surprisingly inexpensive. While waiting in line, she decided to not spend the money and handed the blades to me to give to the cashier when it was our turn... I did what everyone else in the world does, and set them down amongst the little knickknacks and candy that all stores sell up by the registers. Oops. When we got to the register, the girl (Debbie S.) was NOT friendly. She rang us up without saying a word and as she handed me my change, she asked me if I was gonna purchase the Cricut items I had in my hand earlier. Feeling slightly embarrassed about just putting them down on a random shelf, I quickly apologized and pointed to where they were. She looked at me like I was the most annoying person she'd ever encountered and told her coworker in an unnecessarily loud voice to "go and grab those Cricut items". I apologized to the coworker and kept my head down on the way out, feeling humiliated. Long story short, the employees I saw there tonight were rude, and have no consequences for acting that way. You know, I'm not even sure if she was mad at me for setting them down instead of giving them to her, or if my friend was right and she thought I was stealing... either way, if that's how they treat all their customers, I'm not sure how they have any at all... because I will NEVER go back into...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into Hobby lobby today to make some purchases and I noticed a big section that was marked 50% off unfortunately for me I did not read the small print and coordinate it with the tags of the items that were on the shelf under the sign that stated 50% off. Why do you think it is OK to put a big sign labeling 50% off if itās not 50% off? Consumers do not know to look at tags and line them up with a 50% off label and see if itās table Decor or if itās a gift item or holiday item we donāt know any of this therefore if it is in an area that is 50% off then we should get 50% off. The lines in hobby lobby rival Walmart's ridiculous business practices. Now I know why a lot of people buy online. And the manager is no where to be found! I was ready to check out. One cash register was busy. I walked to a vacant register at the SAME time as another customer walked up to the busy resister. I was told by one of three employees, all chit-chatting together, that I had to use register one. As soon as I got in line, the employee who refused to help me walked over to the lady in front of me, who came up at the SAME time I did, to come to the other register and she would check her out. I laid my stuff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe manager racially profiled me when I I recently went to this riverside location on 2/10/21 and found exactly what I needed payed for it at register 5 by Aubrey G at 7:55 pm and was met by an ill mannered manager which seemed to be racially profiling me because I am Latino and asked me ādid you pay for thatā to which I responded āyes at register 5 right there you can ask herā and although seeing that I had stopped and confidently said yes and pointed to the register she had me walk back to ask the cashier if I payed for this and I was extremely embarrassed as all the customers and workers watched me take my walk of shame to ask Aubrey if I had payed for my items, I will not be going to this location anymore and for my fellow Latinos that live in that area I would advise you to take a detour to the location on Blackstone or the one in Clovis or else you might be the next victim to be racially profiled by the ill mannered manager...
