Antagonized by management. Went on a Sunday.. lazy....? There weren't a lot of patrons in the bar area, yet our server had passed by us several times and we would have to flag her down for service; the Hispanic gal with glasses.
She literally walked by me 4 times after taking my order for another pint (refer to surveillance, mgmt). It was when she started leaning against the bar nattering with the burly bartender I had shouted to her for my beverage..
I was just wanting to project my voice as I'm told I mumble on occasion. Boy, were they quick to vilification...
Some snarky Manager named Danielle came out and said she didn't appreciate my aggression with her staff... Because she was present for it.. no, of course it's not something that would be misconstrued or embellished on by the server..
Danielle's tone and demeanor was snarky and irritable, passive-aggressive even. She asked me in her faux-hospitable template if I needed anything else, I asked for more napkins, she thought I wanted her to hand me the remaining ones already on our table. I think I giggled and stated I'm not that sort of person and clarified it was an additional stack I needed. Seems she was trying to paint me a certain way...
I kept a calm tone and demeanor for all of this, but I think she probably felt foolish for revealing her subconscious, because soon after she came with another manager, and he stated he wasn't going to be serving me anymore alcohol. She was smirking the entire time.
Later, the inattentive server had her own conspicuous smirk on her face every time she passed us by. Hmm.. odd, if she actually was distressed by my so-called aggressiveness..
After experiencing Danielle's poor demeanor and overall response to the situation, I'm not surprised that a bunch of the bar-area employees are treating the restaurant like their...

We keep coming back thinking that they are just having a bad night. Well tonight has been the worst! We ordered our food and when I got my sweet potato fries they were not only cold they tasted refrigerator cold. I sent them back and didn’t get my replacement fries for 15 minutes. We had two people other than the person who served it to try and find out what happened to them. When she brought the food 3 of us ordered the teriyaki burger and my husband ordered a plain burger. She had them mixed up and my husband couldn’t figure out why his had pineapple and my friend couldn’t figure out why hers has pickles. The server can’t even tell which burger is which. You have one job to do and you couldn’t even get that right. (It’s very frustrating that one person takes our order, then another person brings our drinks and a third person brings our food.)My husband ordered a second beer but never received it. We asked for the special sauce but they said they ran out and they were going to try and see if they had the ingredients to make more. Then when we we’re almost done he brings us the sauce saying he forgot that they keep some in the kitchen. I’m sorry but that’s the first place I would have thought to look for something that we ran out of in the front. When we ordered we asked if they still had the $10.00 burger special and she said yes but when she brought the bill she charged the regular price for all of our burgers which were all on special. She had to go and redo our bill. Very poor service and the food was a miss. It’s really sad but this will probably be our last time...
Read moreA Classic for a Reason (and Those Bottomless Fries!) Red Robin remains a dependable choice for a casual meal, especially if you're craving a good burger and, of course, their famous bottomless fries. Let's be honest, who can resist that endless supply of crispy potatoes? On my recent visit, I was particularly impressed with the sweet potato fries. They were cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right touch of sweetness. A definite highlight! Beyond the fries, Red Robin offers a pretty extensive menu. There's definitely something for everyone, from classic burgers with all the fixings to lighter options like salads and wraps. They also have a decent selection of appetizers and desserts. And, of course, the bottomless theme extends beyond the fries to their drinks, which is a nice perk. Whether you're in the mood for a soda, lemonade, or something a little more adventurous, you can keep your glass full without breaking the bank. While the food is generally good, the service can sometimes be a bit hit or miss. On this particular visit, our server was attentive and friendly, which definitely enhanced the overall experience. However, I've had experiences in the past where the service was a bit slow or inattentive. Overall, Red Robin is a solid choice for a casual dining experience. The bottomless fries and drinks are a big draw, and the menu offers enough variety to please even the pickiest eaters. And if you're lucky enough to get those perfectly cooked sweet potato fries, you're in for a treat! Just be prepared that the service can sometimes be a little...
