Robertito's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Fresno

Okay first off, I usually do not leave negative reviews. If I don't like a place I just won't go there again. But this was such a bad experience that I had too. My order was not difficult, 2 carnitas fries Pico de Gallo on the side. Two carne asada burrito. A number 15 and 2 LG Dr pepper. The woman taking the order was fixated on the fries, kept repeating it over and over. I got to the window to pay and again she asked about the fries, I told her yes and asked if she got the the burritos and drinks as well, she said yes. I pay, couple min later she gives me a bag and I check to see if its all there. She forgot the burritos, so I wait to get her attention and when I do I calmly tell her she forgot the burritos. She says "What burritos?". The ones I just told you about before I paid. She didn't put that in so I reordered them and before I even have the chance to ask about the sodas I didnt get she closed the window. I ask her when she opens it again about my drinks and she says "What drinks?" I had to have repeated myself like 15 times but somehow she missed all of that. The part that makes me the maddest is that the food was obviously mass cooked then frozen then thawed out per order because all of the food was super cold in the middle, you know, like when you put something in the microwave to warm up. And to top it off, it has been 4 hours since my family ate from there and we are all sick. Our bodies are literally rejecting their food. This place has been here forever and I heard it used to be really good but come on, have some pride in your work. If you want Robertito's do yourself a favor and head to the one on Blackstone and Gettysburg they are way better. And cheaper, this place is way overpriced. 9 bucks for...

I've been coming here for years, 10+ years, and I've never reviewed it until today. This place has been a hit or miss the last 3-5 years, and I've noticed I have been slowly but surely dining/ordering from here less and less.

There's always something going on at this restaurant: the order speaker box isn't working therefore ordering is taking a long time therefore a long order line builds up, and its a popular place so even the in-person waiting can be backed up. This isn't common, but it's not uncommon. Your order can come with residual cheese when you order no cheese (as in, they added cheese, realized it was a "no cheese" order, and just scraped the cheese off leaving a bit of cheese still). Dining outside is either clean or really messy. Service is mediocre at best. It's had better days.

Makes me slightly miss the good 'ol days at this Robertitos... the better days... as I have slowly started transitioning to going to Arsenios down the street (or elsewhere fully) now... which, on a small plus side Arsenio gives 1 of each sauce away for free per burrito ordered, while Robertitos is $0.10 each; not that this should be a deciding factor, but it's a fact...

Decent food and portions for almost reasonable pricing. Despite that I simply cannot and will not recommend this location. The customer service here is absolutely TERRIBLE! it's honestly ridiculous and embarrassing how bad the service is at this place like honestly. For one almost every time I've gone they refuse to talk on the drive thru speaker so you sit there waiting for someone to speak but they won't until you do first, and when they do talk to you every single time they have horrible attitude. Then once you order you can sit at the window for a long period of time before they decide to stop chatting endlessly to talk to you and get your payment only to once again go back to chatting and ignoring your existence until your order is ready and they almost throw your stuff at you to so you can leave them alone then you better hope theu got it right becauseif you ask for somethingto be placed on the side or taken off half the time they just wont. I've given them many chances as I thought maybe it's just a bad day for someone or something but it's every single time on multiple occasions.
