Sushiyaki — Restaurant in Fresno

We stopped to grab dinner to-go from here lastnight. Everything was amazing! We had the steak & chicken dinner special 🍱, the dragon roll 🐉 , and the spicy scallop roll 🍣. The bacon fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve had in years 🥓🍚. Everything was cooked to perfection!! The mushrooms on the steak were so delicious 🤤🍄🥩 .

When we walked in the cook was at the register. He was very friendly and inviting. We told him it was our first time eating there and he gave us his input on what we were about to order. He even gave my daughter a free kids drink since it was her first time he said. We didn’t wait too long for our food but even if we had to…food that good is definitely worth the wait. As we waited for our food we could hear the cook singing 🎶…it just gave positive vibes and I said “I love to hear the person that is cooking my food sing” just felt like he was putting all that love and positivity into our food. The cook’s sister came out to clean up around the soda machine and sweep up the dining area a little, she asked how we were doing she was also very friendly. Never noticed this restuarant until the other week. Decided it was time to give it a shot and the shot returned with flying colors. Any review that says the food was bad, definitely tripping. Walked in, was greeted by a chef that immediately welcomed new guests to the establishment and offered great recommendations for sushi and plates. You cannot go wrong on the lava cake roll, sushiyaki special roll, and dragon roll! Don't forget that New York steak with bacon fried rice plate. Definitely impressed by how tender and well seasoned them tiny thin cuts were. Total was shy under $60 for all that for two. Can't beat that for 2024 prices. So I went here twice, once for the dinner special (AMAZING) including 2 shrimps, steak, and chicken and a drink for $19. I was suprised by the amount - didn't think it'd be that pricey. But oh boy, the flavor was worth it. The steak was done perfectly and the bacon fried rice was out of this world. It was worth the drive downtown to get it.
