Located on Clinton and Valentine area. They have a taco truck and large seating area quardoned off for eating. It's a cute setup, gets a really good breeze even when it's over 100 degrees outside. The flags flap a lot so it can be a little noisy and getting out of the dirt field on to Clinton can be a bit tricky if you aren't a strong driver.
Ordered the Asada tacos and can't say that I was impressed. The meat lacked flavor and the tacos are extremely greasy. They put guacamole sauce, cilantro and onions. Get the guac sauce if you want any flavor at all. I asked for extra lime and offered to pay for it. They told me when they handed my food that I had enough. Well with the lack of flavor more lime would have been ideal. They were friendly enough but the Asada tacos just aren't it.
Word of caution. They didn't wear gloves while handling payments and food. I noticed one of the employees wiping sweat due to the heat (understandably so) but went right back to cooking. The cashier took lime from one of the employees then put it in my tacos. I figured I've eaten worse so didn't make a big deal of it but if you are particular about food handling then just keep in my mind it's more like home rules when they are making orders. Can't say that I'll be back but I give them a bravo for the setup and good breeze at the location they chose. The tacos are 2.50 per taco not sure if...
Read moreBelow average tacos — seems like they can't get rid of their lemons every time I order I only receive one single slice of lemon. (Hint of why I have to pick at my own lemon tree to serve myself with some juicy lemons that will satisfy me and my meal) Also, what's really odd about this food truck is that they add ur toppings on the side and not ON your tacos so I'll have to use my own fingers just to add it on since they don't give out utensils. It would be more efficient and considerate of them just to ask if I would like them at all. I personally don't mind greens but Jesus they add more greens then MEAT itself which is just disgrace.
But, As a Hispanic that's pretty disrespectful especially because the sauces are meant...
Read moreWent to go get lunch there last week but they have just up a disappeared i guess. The lot was completely bare, all their seatrain converted buildings were no longer there and no signs they are ever coming back. Does anyone know what happened to them because after all the remoddelling and creating the new dining enclosure with separate rooms to eat in, I was under impression, they were gonna be here for long time. Shocked to see it was all completely gone. Like it never even existed there at one time. Pics are from time when they were c o nverting from the open eating area to the converted sea...
