I have been a customer for a long time even before this new ownership took over when this place used to be Lola’s tacos. I am writing this review so that you have a better experience. Always check your order before you leave. Even if you repeated to them many times while taking the order or when you ask again when they hand it to you and they say yes, everything is good. Don’t take their word. Always check your whole order even if takes 1-2 min to unwrap everything while you’re there. My family and I have had to return back to restaurant so many times after coming home to sit down to eat and our order is wrong. Well yesterday was the last time. I will never return to this place again for the great disrespect the young lady at the window had and the owner who I talked to on the phone. They don’t care even if you have been a customer for many years and this keeps on happening; there is no apology, no compensation for your time or gas. Just entitlement and attitude. So if the boss does not correct their employees and recognize there is a real problem, this will continue and people will eventually like me get tired after going and giving them so many chances. So even if your favorite taco place is 10-15 min more away just go there instead because coming here out of convenience on the way home is not worth it. It will actually be more of inconvenience because you will waste more time and gas because you will have to return and be upset of their pure incompetence and attitude of entitlement. I'm not sure if it's the intercom and it needs an update. They are stingy with there green salsas. This is my personal experience from yesterday I went through the drive thru I order a number of two tacos rice and beans and asada burrito and two mini tacos. I received the bag and I looked inside the bag and I saw that they had given me two burritos and two mini tacos. I did not want to go back because I had already gotten out of the drive thru and there was a line to go back in it. I did not want to get off because I saw people walking in and I had already been waiting a while on my order so I didn't want to wait any longer. I called on the phone to let them know my order was wrong and I didn't want to go back because there was a line and people inside already and I didn't want to wait any longer. So the person I talked to on the phone said I would have to go back before 3 to get the order but I was already home. I wasn't going to go back. He told me that what he heard thru the inter com was two burritos and I told him no he had repeated back the number which I believe was a number 8 the two tacos rice and beans he didn't give us a receipt just the change back. We ordered picked up the order and then realized with our albondigas soup was filled with broth only had two meat balls one potato 2 carrots and a side of cilantro onion and chills and corn tortillas for 17 dollars each order of soup we thought there would be a side of rice and at least 3 meatballs.
I called the owner Paize who wouldn’t let me or my colleagues talk about the situation instead she shouted at us and kept telling us she’s not going to make the situation right too bad that’s how it comes by yelling at us instead of being professional. With her finally hanging up on us without any resolution. Her level of anger was terrifying tbh.
The fact Paize that your restaurant is so over priced to the small amount of food they actually give not to mention the quality of the food is TERRIBLE.
The owner needs to go to anger management classes or find a new profession because she lacks customer service skills and communication skills.
If you’re going to own a restaurant at least learn how to accommodate your customers when something is wrong. Not shout at them because you lack knowledge and the ability to actually do your job!
