This little gem is located inside of a small strip mall. As you can see in the photo, the place was packed! Amazingly everyone that I spoke to, to inquire about the quality of the food there, were all First Timers themselves! Every person in that photo was there for the First Time! I have never experienced this in 45 years of dining out.

The general feed back from each customer eagerly awaiting their turn at the counter was “I heard the food was phenomenal, I hope it’s worth the wait”? (The wait can be an extended one. I waited a good 20 minutes before reaching the counter to place my order and a good 20 minutes before my order was ready for pickup).

The day I visited, there was no A/C, just a floor oscillating fan (Temp was 90° outside). There are no tables but there are chairs for waiting once you have placed your order.

There is no public restroom. Wide doors and a level floor make it easy for wheelchairs to access. I did see two service dogs among the waiting customers.

The wait time appears to be because the kitchen is very small and the popularity of the food easily overwhelms the three employees. They do their absolute best to give 100% attention to the preparation of the food and safety standards. When there are approximately 10 tickets, the cashier steps back into the kitchen to help the cooks catch up on meal plating and preparing the cooked food into To-Go bags. (This is what causes the extended wait times).

This is Hands Down the BEST Teriyaki joint in Fresno! The slightly uncomfortable air temperature, the lack of public restrooms, the chairs but no tables and the extended wait time was WELL worth the visit!

I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and the #15 Sautéed Shrimp w/fried Rice. My partner in crime went with the Build Your Own Combo Plate and chose Orange Chicken, Sweet n Sour Pork w/Chow Mein.

The Teriyaki Chicken was nothing short of incredible! The chicken was the most tender and juicy that I’ve ever had. #15 had plenty of shrimp mixed with vegetables carrots, baby bok choy, celery, zucchini, mushrooms and cabbage. Throw on a healthy side of Fried Rice and you have a “winner” every-time!

The Orange Chicken sitting right next to the Sweet n Sour Pork on the plate were almost indistinguishable. The only way to tell them apart was the tried and true taste test! I volunteered and the first bite was the Sweet n Sour Pork and it did not disappoint! (This is often a dry meat because it is overcooked and is masked by the “sweet/sour” sauce to make it palatable). This Sweet/Sour Pork was just a tender and juicy as my Teriyaki Chicken! I quickly jumped over to the Orange Chicken and it too blew me away! Tender, juicy, cooked to perfection and tossed in the Orange Glaze!

In summary: The waiting situation is not ideal and can be uncomfortable on days with temperature extremes. No public restrooms. ADA compliant. The average price of a dish here is $10 - $18. Family operated. Amazing dishes that will knock...

I live nearby and this is my favorite small restaurant to go to even though this restaurant is not a classy restaurant but budget wise, healthwise the food here is very excellent! I always order their beef korean bbq with rice and with fresh cooked crunchy broccoli in it and also the salmon with rice and broccoli! The chicken noodle soup also has broccoli and other veggies in it! They all taste very good! The couples here are very fast; hardworking, very friendly and are always busy but they manage to serve all their customers! I would say whoever cook the food here is very talented for cooking delicious food and very fast! The prices here are affordable too and serve you enough food! Thank you very much! Buying take out food here is worth it! If you dont want to wait in line for a take out order just call ahead... That’s what...

the cheapest prices and best flavor of any chinese in fresno. only Hunan is a good competition for flavor but not price. the only issue with wok and grill is the food is so fresh and hot the chef puts it in the takeout foam and it melts a little. kinda unhealthy. if i could figure out how to tell them to put paper or foil in the foam i would, but they seem so busy and i don't want to inconvenience them. if you want to save money and eat amazing food, you cant beat Wok and Grill. our favorites are: broccoli beef, thai spicy chicken, orange chicken, kung pao, beef curry to name a few. we tried most of the menu and everything is good. its to good to be true, but it is. i need to figure out how to tell them i dont want my food melting the foam, i dont want them to get annoyed. trust me, this place is way better than...

The first time I tried this place it was nostalgic for me because it reminded me of my grandfather’s cooking. You may think that it’s all Chinese food but it’s not. Secondly, this place not only has good quality food but the price is off the charts. Best deal everywhere. For $33, you get family style dinner. You can’t find that anywhere. You could feed a small army. The dinner comes with a BBQ pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, and 3 other selection of entrees. So just the other day I order the family meal with the fried rice, chow mein, Thai spicy chicken, broccoli beef, and Mongolian beef. This was so good and the proportions is off the hook. I will come again and again. You should be coming here too.

I was going to buy beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki and more, I ended up buying the family meal for 39.99 and It Was A Lot! The chicken chowmein is good and Plenty The Fried Rice is Yummy The Mongolian Beef they made it less spicy and ummm, it's PERFECT!!! Sweet and Sour Pork is alright The Kung Pao Chicken... it's good... not sure what's missing on it, something how Panda Express' made theirs... Overall, satisfied with the food. They get really busy, and yes your food is cooked per order, so you will have to wait about 20 mins. - Not for.dine in - Togo orders only Will be coming back hopefully next time they have the korean beef bbq.
