As I stepped into Curry Pizza Company, a place I've frequented since its inception, I was immediately greeted by the familiar, inviting ambiance that had become almost like a second home to me. This establishment has consistently managed to retain its charm and quality, offering a unique culinary twist that blends the rich flavors of Indian cuisine with the classic, comforting allure of pizza. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where flavors dance and traditions merge, creating something truly special.
My latest visit was a vivid tapestry of tastes and aromas. The Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, a delightful fusion of creamy, spiced sauce and tender chicken, topped with fresh cilantro, was a symphony of flavors. Equally impressive was the Butter Chicken Pizza, generously laden with succulent chicken, its rich sauce perfectly complementing the crisp, golden crust. Each slice was a testament to the culinary creativity that Curry Pizza Company prides itself on. Accompanying these were the fiery Tandoori Wings, the innovative Butter Chicken Waffle Fries, and a refreshing selection of Indian drinks, like Limca and Thumbs Up, which added an authentic touch to the meal. The ice-cold pitcher of beer was the perfect foil to the spices, creating a balance that was both satisfying and exhilarating.
But it's not just the food that makes Curry Pizza Company stand out. The warmth and friendliness of the staff, treating each customer like family, the convenience of ample parking, and thoughtful touches like the free ranch and the heart-shaped pizzas for Valentine’s Day, all contribute to a dining experience that's both heartwarming and delightful. Whether it's for a casual family dinner, a budget-friendly happy hour, or to catch a sports game, this place has a way of making every visit memorable. As I left, already anticipating my next visit, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this local gem that consistently brings a slice of joy to...
Read moreBefore I go on my rant, I want to say that the location on Clinton and Blythe provided excellent service and product the first time we ordered.
This was our first time ordering from the Shaw and Marks location from the second the employee picked up the phone, it was a bad experience. She answered the phone almost as if she was upset to be taking my order. It was more than an hour before close, so it’s by no means a last-minute order.
Every question I asked was answered very brief and dry. I asked if they charge more to do half and half pizzas, she replied no. So I ordered half chicken tikka masala, half pepperoni mushroom olive as you can see on the receipt. The chicken tikka masala pizza consists of at least 3 different toppings.
After going to pick up the pizza, my total was $34.64 after tax and I asked why it was so much more than 27.99 that I was quoted on the phone, there’s no way there was almost $7 in tax. She explained that I added more toppings, but I removed a whole half of a pizzas worth of toppings. I understand what she was explaining but it makes absolutely no sense, and this should have been explained on the phone considering that I specifically asked if it was more to do half and half.
I really want to like this company because I know they are a local business but this was terrible service I received tonight. I will not be returning to...
Read moreI have been loving this place since it opened and supporting a local business is important. But the quality of food is slipping. Last three times I’ve ordered a pizza it’s getting more and more over baked. Crust gets tough when it’s over baked, pizza is dry, barely any sauce, and minimal cheese. The first time I figured everyone as at least one off day. Second time I ordered extra sauce and extra cheese… I paid for the extra but there was no extra and again is was over baked and dry. Third time is a charm? Sadly no. Again ordered extra sauce and extra cheese and this time there was less cheese than a regular pizza and it was so over baked that the pepperoni was burnt. I called the restaurant and the young lady working said there is no manager for you to speak to. Another woman gets on the phone and “we did put extra and the person making the pizza has been here for a year”. They offered I drive all the way back to the restaurant give them the burnt pizza and they will make a new one. By the time this would all happen it would be close to 8pm on a school night, way too late for me and my family. Trashed the $34 pepperoni pizza and made something else instead. I really hope you guys are not losing your momentum I would love to continue supporting you guys but not if this is the quality we...
