My family of 5 just went to a Wendy’s in Fresno while traveling from Las Vegas to SAcramento. My husband, 2 toddlers, 8yo and myself. We recently got a Wendy’s location in Sacramento near our home so I was excited to start eating there more. I downloaded the app to start building rewards points. But after our recent visit not only will we not be going to Wendy’s I will be telling everyone to avoid Wendy’s if they can. If what I just learned is true based of my experience I can’t support a business with this kind of customer service model.
We arrived at 5:45 to dine in at a Fresno Wendy’s location off the freeway. No one was able to assist us at the register they were all too busy making food or attending to the drive in. It took us about 10 mins to figure out how to order to be able to use one of our coupon rewards codes. Still in that time no one came to ask us if we needed help with anything. Once our order was placed there was one patron ahead of us, an Uber order. While we were waiting two other orders were placed on the kiosk after us as well as 2 door dash orders. I finally went up to the front because so many other were getting their food. All these other customers have already received their food orders. I asked the manager Mandi why was it that we were still waiting for our order 30 mins later. She said it was because she was waiting for fries. I said waiting for fries? Why didn’t you just give me the fries you put in all those other orders. She said they she was under staffed with a bunch of Juveniles who don’t know what they are doing. I said ok well then can I have the meals that are ready so that I can feed my children we still have a 3 hour drive ahead of us and have been on the road for the last 5 hours. She then gave me the kids meals but they were wrong I told her the order had apples not fries. Ironically because haven’t we been waiting for fries this whole time? She then disappeared for another 5 mins to return with the apples. She then used the fries from the kids meal to provide the fries our meal had been missing. When I got back to our seats one of my toddler dropped all her apples. I went back to the manager and asked if she could replace the apples as a courtesy for making us wait so long for our meal. She said she could not or it would mess up her food inventory and her money would be off. I would have to pay for the apples…. Now if anyone knows customer service the cost of $1 apples is not worth one upset customer sharing their poor experience with others too then loose more than $1 worth of sales. Even with just our family alone it is worth more than a $1 in sales. I have no issues paying for a $1 worth of apples what I do have an issue with is giving anymore of my money to an establishment that could give 2 cents about me and my family and paying customers. I advise all families with children take your kids to mc Donald’s the food is better for the price and so is...
Read moreI made a mobile order over the app a few hours before my lunch break. I wanted to be able to swing by and pick up my order from the lobby and head back to work. Instead when I showed up the mobile order pickup shelf was empty. I stood infront of the counter for 10 minutes. Only to finally have someone tell me to use the kiosk to order as they don’t have a front cashier. I explained to them that I was picking up my mobile order. This is when I realized that even though I had placed an order and scheduled it to be picked up they never even started it. It was sitting on their screens but they had done nothing about it. So I waited another 10 minutes for my food. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting I finally had my food. At least it was warm and fresh. But this was garbage service at least have someone checking the front instead of hiding in the back, utilize the mobile pick up shelf, and finally monitor your incoming orders. I should have just gone inside, picked up my...
Read moreThis location is open until 2am. I was on my way home from work and went through the drive-thru at 11pm. I ordered a Dave's Double lettuce wrapped and a spicy chicken sandwich lettuce wrapped. There were two cars ahead of me. One at the window and one in front of me waiting. I waited 20 minutes and the car at the window still had not moved so I just left. As a former employee of fast food I can attest that it only takes no more than 5 min to make frozen fries, frozen chicken takes no more than 7-8min. Frozen patties take no more than 5 minutes as well. There is absolutely no reason why an order should take 20+ minutes to make. Absolutely absurd. The Wendy's by my house makes the food fresh that late at night but I wait no longer 5-7min,...
