Chinese Wok — Restaurant in Friendswood

I've been going here for 2 years almost every month and have never had any problems. There's this nice old man that usually works behind the counter that I wouldn't hesitate to call a friend; but after renovations they seemes to have hired new help; which is in no way kind at all. Today I walked in and ask the woman behind the register if their phones were working because I tried calling them prior to coming up and she completely disregards my question and just asked what I wanted to order. At the moment she was refilling a coffee maker and had several other orders to give out so I told her to finish what she was doing and waited for her to finish. When she does finish she just stands against the back of the bar glaring at me and not even asking to take my order at all. After this and anytime I tried to order she simply began ignoring me and even began to insult me saying "You should be happy to leave your house at all" and telling me "Your phone must be broken not ours" when that has been an ongoing problem in the past months. She wouldn't answer any of my questions nor even take my order even when we went through the drive-through. All I wanted was some fried rice for myself and my kid and all I got from it was drama and a headache. I really, really like this place. It's cheap; the food is great and usually the workers are kind too. But today just ruined my entire experience with this restaurant; and I may have to find another place to go...

Typically, we enjoy their food. Today was a different story. We ordered 30.00 worth of food and called back to say that the meat tasted funny. The owner yelled at us for having voiced our opinion. He said he had been open for 10 hours already and I was the only one to complain. I told him that he probably left his meat out of temperature for those 10 hours and that is why the meat tasted funny. He made no effort to compensate us in any way. He was rude and yelled alot. Needless to say, he did not take criticism too well. Hopefully, we won't get sick tonight. Next time, we'll order take out pizza. p.s. There was no way for me to add a negative 5...

Oh my, where do I start. First of all the lady did not give us any napkins and she counted the forks. I asked her for 2 more and she said only 1 more could be given. I got 4 plates. The food was repulsive, It smelled like a chinese sewer in my car. We ordered the triple meat and It literally had 2 shrimp. 2 small pieces of what seemed to be beef, and maybe cat, who knows. It had an awful smell. The rice looked like they where giving food away to homeless people. Food had no flavor. The lady knew hardly and English, she kept saying "sank you". Anyways, we will not be going back ever. Horrible service, Horrible Food. Plain...
