Revisiting this review. Not often do I revisit reviews but when a restaurant takes care of their issues, I feel they deserve it. They are now serving better food with correct temperature, they have a better attitude, they seem to be a tiny bit quicker in the drive thru (not much, but I’ll take it). They smile now. Uniforms looks clean and fits correctly. It’s good to see so many improvements! So yes, I recommend this jack in the box. BUT beware of the loaded tiny tacos! Those lil guys are super messy! Maybe ask for the cheese & sauce to be put in a container on the side or something. Aside from the mess, those are fairly good as well. Oh and the Chocolate molten cake is awesome too!

Scarsdale location is by far THE worst Jack in the Box in this entire area!! Food is most always incorrect & not given the correct quantity (ie fries are not what you pay for. You want a large, you’ll get a med in a large sleeve). Drinks are gross, especially the sweet tea. Tacos are greasy & flat, even the mini ones! The employees are lazy and don’t follow through with their tasks. I’ve seen several employees throughout time twisting their butts and playing around with other employees instead of doing their job. If the place was clean, food was correct, hot & the proper portions I’d have no problem. But sadly this is never the case. Management is just as bad at ignoring what’s going on around them & the reviews clearly shows they don’t care about customer complaints either (look at the dates on them…negative reviews for years to present day!). Since this is an ongoing issue, this location should be shut down & replaced with a better establishment for our neighborhood! My vote would be Starbucks, Rally’s or a chick-fil-a…anything but this waste of space! Which is sad, because there are really great Jack in the Box establishments out there.…it would have been nice to have one of those close to the house instead of this one that’s infested with bad employees & management!! Read moreI work at the hospital right behind this location so in between patients I decided to take my lunch break and go to Jack-in-the-Box. I order a number 17 and then I proceed to ask the lady for buttermilk through the drive-through and she interrupts me before I could even ask fully and tells me ask for your condiments at the window. Didn’t even wait for me to finish talking just cut me off so I didn’t say anything then I proceed to tell her the drink I want with my mail and she ask you want to add a drink and I said no I drink comes with it and she then says rudely oh yeah a medium drink and fry come with it what do you want to drink so once again I’m wondering why she being so rude so then I tell her I would like a diet soda and then she says anything else and I asked for two tacos and she size loudly as if I’m bothering her asking her for anything else I then just proceeded to tell her never mind cancel my order. I’m leaving because once you make me feel like I’m bothering you by you doing your job I’m not gonna dine at that establishment or even go into an establishment that’s making me feel uncomfortable already And you haven’t even made my food or giving me my food. I didn’t even dare want to pull up to the window and ask her for buttermilk at that point so I canceled my order and drove off. I will not be going back to that location and I will definitely tell The staff where I work do not dine at that location because of the service you receive the lady that took my order sound like a little bit of elderly Hispanic woman. but thank you for ruining...
Read moreKenya at Scarsdale location is the employee who offended me----I'm typically a huge fan of this location and often choose it to order from before other locations that are closer to home. Tonight I ordered an order to pick up from the app. I was pushing it to get there and was later to arrive than I would have liked. I got there at 9p which was ten minutes past it's ready time of 8:52p. A staff member who says her name is Kenya refused to give me my food. She said I had to have my phone with a code to get it. I left my phone charging at the house. I offered to show her my ID that has my name on it, but she refused to give me my food. My name was printed on the receipt and literally written all over the place, on the bags and drinks etc. HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT THERE WAS FOOD IN MY NAME TO PICK UP IF I DIDN'T ORDER IT?!?! I have never been required to give a code or show my app to pick up my orders in the past. I could have recited to her my order. It was a sizable order and after two round trips to Jack In the Box it was cold. She didn't give a rats ass. She acted like I was ridiculous for being pissed, but that is the most ridiculous logic or lack of logic I've ever encountered when picking up an order. I've never in my life had someone refuse to give me an order placed with my name when I arrived. The whole experience was crazy. SHE SENT ME HOME!! Two round trips for cold food.
