Was trying to get into one piece and signed up for the prerelease tournament they had listed on the app. Despite warnings from the One Piece community, I decided to give them a chance since I've played magic here in the past, and I wanted to form my own opinion rather than listen to others. I showed up on the time listed, only to be told their event was filled a long time ago and they said they do not use the app for events. I asked the staff why there's an event on the app then, to which they stated that that's automatically done by Bandai. I asked the staff when is/was their prerelease event (clearly it wasn't at the listed time since there was no one in the store for the event other than another person who also signed up on the app as shocked as me) and they stumbled and bumbled on a response. So that leaves a logical conclusion: they do not host one piece tournaments despite claiming to in order to get more distribution from Bandai so they can sell all of it, including product meant for tournaments. I will admit to my faults and confess I did buy a box of op07 since my pride wouldn't let me drive 25 minutes one way with nothing to show for it. I apologize to the community for supporting them. It will not happen again. Nor will I ever play magic here again. Bandai is a bad company, no doubt about it. But Strike Zone is a bad lgs, and lgs is too kind of a...
Read moreStopped by for the first time today and I was shocked. I mean sure they have a wide variety of Pokemon cards and other collectible cards, however if you want to purchase any to take home, you’re going to pay through the teeth. I’ve seen scalper prices before, and somehow this store is worse! Despite the fact that they get their product straight from the distributor, they’re still marking it up over 200%! In what world is a 151 ETB worth $200?? They do have some booster packs for closer to a reasonable price, but even then, the rest of the prices at this store are disgustingly high for someone who’s paying wholesale. Prismatic evolutions for $160? Yeah.. you can go ahead and keep it. Also, for some reason, all of the single cards are kept in the back and you have to look at them online? You can’t even search through what they have, you have to just type in a card name and hope they have it. Very inefficient, and honestly after looking at the prices for everything else, I’d be scared to find out how much they’re trying to sell the single cards for anyways. Needless to say, unless you don’t mind throwing obscene amounts of money down for something that should be over half the price it’s sold for, avoid this place. I won’t be...

Employees: Really attentive and nice, they even where nice enough to explain their “singles” system.
Products: A lot of MTG product, both old and recent. Recommended if you are trying to find a rare set.
Single Prices: I mainly went to buy some specific singles, which thankfully they did have. The only problem were the prices for the more expensive cards.
For example, “Mondrak Glory Dominus” (showcase) is worth ~39$ on TCG, but they were selling a copy for 44.99$. (6$ difference), which is why I was discouraged to buy one.
As far as I understand, most in the magic community use TCG to determine the price of a card, and if not, at least stay within a small range.
I was told vaguely that they use multiple websites to determine prices, but I feel a 15.36% difference is quite big.
If I had to theorize, I will say that their prices are’t updated in real time, since they all tend to end with, ¢49 or ¢99, which is unusual in mtg prices.
Overall, the environment was great with a lot of products, the only problem will be the prices of singles.
(I wish I could give a 3.5...
