Dan's Pizza "In the Mont" — Restaurant in Friendswood

Wish I would have passed. I ordered the 16” all beef pepperoni amore, mozzarella sticks, and tiramisu. Everything was bad. :(. It’s my last night in Houston for a work trip and was hoping to get some decent pizza before flying out. After spending 45 minutes searching google for the best reviewed spot I landed on Dans and couldn’t have been more disappointed. The pizza was so greasy that it leaked through the side of the box and left a literal pool of grease/oil on the floor outside my hotel room door. However, when you think of a pepperoni pizza, you associate greasiness however, this was obnoxious. The pizza itself was cold, tough like cardboard, and the only flavor I got was salt and Acidity. The Mozzarella sticks taste as if they have been fried in month old fryer grease and still were crumbly and bland. They did not provide my “chunky marinara” at all to accompany them, and lastly, the tiramisu was the only thing that actually had any flavor, but this is likely because they buy it frozen. I say this because it is still frozen solid sitting on my hotel desk as I type this. They also did not send any utensils, napkins, or plates as requested which left me to my devices eating tiramisu or at least attempting to, with my hands. Double thumbs down guys… super bummed. I don't know where to start, however to keep it simple the young lady at the register appeared to be brand new based on her behavior. My online carryout order was supposed to be ready in 15-20 minutes, I arrived 30+ minutes later and they tell me something happened and they did not have my order started. Secondly, I specifically put written instructions in online, to make sure the dough was cooked thoroughly on the pizzas this time; especially the veggie pizza. In person, I explained to the gentleman that my last pizzas were a little under-cooked in relation to the dough. He verbalized he would make sure it was good this time. Needless to say, all the pizza crusts were under-cooked and so were $40 worth of hot wings. We got scanty amount of veggies and product on our pizzas that we paid extra money for. This pizza is supposed to be elite. Sadly this is my second time ever visiting this business and both times they messed up. I will not ever visit this establishment on the MONT location again. I will be trying the Webster location. I had this pizza at work and it was sooo good, fresh, top notch ingredients but I did not realized it came from the Webster location. Lesson learned!! If Dan was truly sorry, he would have done something to fix my issue. But he flat out lied to me... I am surprised he is still in business...

We have been ordering from Dan's Pizza at least 2 times a month if not more for over 10 years, and now listen to this customer service issue. We ordered boneless spicy garlic wings, calamari, fried mushrooms. We received our order and the wings were Garlic but not spicy, the ranch dressing was yellow and spoiled. The Calamari was cold and no marinara sauce, The fries that came with the wings were fine but no ketchup was sent with the order. We called and informed them about the issue and we were told that we could come pickup the correct items or it would be 2 hours to get it delivered. I called and spoke with Dan Spendley the owner. He stated the order had been remade and was 12 minutes away. We waited 30 minutes and still no delivery. Then after an hour and still no delivery, he said his delivery driver dropped it off with a lady and the address. Funny thing is there was no attempt plus we have cameras that watch our property. Dan Spendley flat out lied to me and never has any intention of making this right.. I would not do business with this...
