This is my local Chinese buffet being just a few blocks away. I have been getting take-out for almost a decade. The choices for the buffet are varied and consistent. The cold food area is well cared for to ensure it stays cold. For example, the sushi never gets up to room temperature which diminishes it's quality. As for the hot food, I love the hot and sour soup. They have wonton and egg drop as well. Their pepper steak, chicken with garlic sauce, General Tso Chicken, and seseme chicken are examples of quality dishes made very well and taste very good. For the dinner buffet, they add dishes such as shelled seafood and chicken wings that rival national chains. It doesn't have sauce on them, but I've added sauce in the past after bringing them home and it was just as good As for the staff, I know the managers and they are always so kind and friendly to me. They run a really good restaurant and even though it's a smaller buffet than others in the Houston area (the size of the restaurant as well), they have a good assortment of choices that will have you coming back next time you...
Read moreGreat seating, great selection with the meats, veggies, sushi, soups, but not so great tasting the dumplings were a bit on the salty side, the chow mein needs more flavor, the pork egg rolls tasted weird as if they fried them using the same oil as something else, crabs also tasted off, the orange chicken was bit over fried not crunchy just kinda stiff, the desert selection needs an upgrade not much going on , the cream rangoons didnt even have cream just tasted like yellow cheese, i rate is 6.8/10 now i didnt try every single thing this is my opinion and im not a picky eater most of the stuff was good like the fried rice, sesame chicken, broccoli beef, sushi, wonton soup, mushrooms, green beans, that i tried and enjoyed. (Again just my opinion on this and its nothing that the owner cant improve on, theres always room for improvement) would i come here again? Yes i would despite that due to the selection they have and the foods...
Read moreFood was good. I am reviewing because I was asked my age by the young lady who sat my party. I was not asking for a discount and had not even given my drink order, but was singled out. This is not socially appropriate. Asking a customer their age is NOT good service, it's invasive and unnecessary if I didn't ask for a discount. This made the table uncomfortable and the atmosphere a bit awkward. The other guests were not singled out and asked how much money they make to determine if they could afford their meal. The ultimate result of the question was this: I do not qualify for the discount. The question resulted in uncomfortable humiliation and absolutely no benefit. I will not return to this restaurant due to this type of "service". Your employees need to be taught how rude it is to ask this when...
