Pop Top Burger is a hidden gem that absolutely blew me away with its delicious food and generous portions. I ordered the Aye YAI YAI Burger, Friezz in Me Crazy, and had the pleasure of trying a friend's Big Bubba. The Aye YAI YAI Burger was mouthwatering—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. I only wish I had come in hungrier so I could have finished it all! If you're ravenous, this is definitely the spot to go to because the portions are crazy generous. My friend devoured his Big Bubba and still had room for more. He mentioned that it was the first time in a long time he could enjoy a burger without feeling sick from the greasiness. That says a lot about the quality here. The appetizer fries were a pleasant surprise. I was mentally prepared for prepackaged, microwave fries, but what we got were crispy, golden perfection. You could really taste the difference, and they are a must-try even if you're not a big fries person. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and offered spot-on recommendations. He really added to the overall experience. Overall, Pop Top Burger gets a 5/5 from me. I can’t wait to come back, maybe with a bigger appetite next time!

Do you remember when you were a kid, and Sunday was for cooking out and your folks would make the most amazing burgers? Well, if you don't, then your childhood was lacking and you need to high tail over to this place! And if you do, then your childhood was like mine and these burgers bring those memories rushing back ... and you STILL need to high tail it here! Pop Top is a quaint little building, an old house that appears to have been repurposed into a pool company and now into a burger joint! We started with the Popper Topper Cheese Balls, and OMG they were so delicious! Oooey Gooey cheese that was finger licking good! I wasn't terribly hungry since I had a late lunch, so I ordered the No Bun Burger with all the trimmings (except mayo). Since I didn't get the bun, I will tell you that the patty was seasoned to perfection! WOW!! It hit the spot!! Hubs got the Farmers Choice, which was loaded up with jalapeño sausage, egg, bacon and even a bacon-blended patty! it even comes with their special sauce (which is BBQ and mayo). He thought it was so yummy! The staff was super friendly and I believe the lady working the register to be the owner. Come out and support this local business! You won't be sorry!!

Gourmet burger place with prices a little higher than fast food but cheaper than most other sit-down meals. I ordered the Farmer’s Choice burger at $11 and my kid ordered the Chili Mac burger at $9. Farmer’s Choice was a burger (looks like 1/3 lb of beef) with cheese, bacon, fried egg, and a link of sausage split an seared. The Chili Mac burger was basically that, a burger with a pile of chili mac and cheese inside it. We ordered the split decision onion rings and French fries at $6. The onion rings come in large or slivered, and regular or spicy. I like big fat onion rings, and I got spicy. It was all really tasty. My kid said the macaroni was lost in all the chili and cheese but she didn’t even care. My burger was really good, had an awful lot going on and I will probably simplify it a little next time and go with a regular cheddar cheese burger with a fried egg. But we most certainly will be back for another round. A good burger is an art form and this place does a lot right. The buns are terrific, look like gourmet bakery buns and not just whatever comes in the food delivery truck.

Haven’t gotten a chance to try their burgers yet, but I’ve gotten their salad and was pretty excited because this is a halal place and I only eat halal meat. First, I ordered the chicken Caesar salad with extra chicken and curly fries. The salad itself was good, but the Caesar dressing was WAY too salty. I ordered it again this past Tuesday, needing a healthier option for lunch, intending to just skip the dressing, only to get home and find that I’d been given a Cobb salad with ranch dressing. I did not order a Cobb salad. In fact, for health reasons I am currently avoiding bleu cheese and soft cheeses. I called in my order and said “Caesar salad” at least twice throughout the call, along with “Caesar dressing” at least once, and chose to call it in so I could request extra chicken. When I called to report the error, instead of admitting the mistake, I kept getting the response of, “the order was entered as a grilled chicken salad.” Regardless of how it was entered by the waitress, that was not what I requested when I ordered. I then requested to speak to a manager after this back-and-forth, only to be told the manager had left for the day. I did not receive a call back from the manager.

Advice to management - please train your staff to listen attentively and repeat back the order, especially if they are confused. I am still annoyed because not only did I receive an order I was supposed to be avoiding for health reasons, but also because I never received my call back from management. This is not okay and 2/2 subpar experiences is a problem. I will be going one more time to try the burgers, and hope those don’t disappoint, but it seems my expectations need...

We love to support local businesses when we can, and Pop Top was a burger place we loved. Sadly, we have had a terrible experience the passed two times we've ordered takeout here. Today was the worst. We placed an order and were told that it would be 20 - 30 minutes. After an HOUR of waiting, we were told that our order never printed, but somehow the burgers were correct when we finally got them? Had they not already charged us, we would have just left. We were not the only people waiting that long for takeout orders either. Unfortunately, when we finally got our food home to eat (which is maybe a 10 minute drive tops) the bottom buns of our burgers were so soggy they literally disintegrated in our hands. Completely inedible. We had to just fold the burger in half and eat with the top bun only. We suspect our order had been done for some time and it was never brought out to us (after being asked what the name on our order was 3 different times by the same person).

We realize that many restaurants are short staffed right now, and so we try and show a little grace and be patient. But we were lied to, ignored, and left with no indication as to when our order would be ready.

I'm not sure if management has changed recently or what the downfall might be. This place was so great at one time and we would recommend it often. I'm saddened that it's no longer what it once was. We will not...
