Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Friendswood

Usually pretty great service nothing too amazing or bad when I come so I’m not going to rate it one star over one encounter. But I’m confused on the hours. Does this place close at 11 pm currently? I placed an order online at about 10:20pm this past Monday and when I got there I pressed the button to place a separate order at 10:27pm and no one responded. So I decided to tap the “I’m here” button for my online order. My order came out quickly and then I pressed the button again for my next order, raspberry slush, and they answered the button and said they were closed. I responded saying I pressed the button about 5 minutes ago and no one came but they just hung up on me. I tried to just place an order for a different slush online and when I pressed the button they said they canceled it and hung up and turned off all the lights. I’m just confused on when this location closes cause online says 11pm but it was only 10:30 when this occurred...

I’ve waited a couple visits to post this review, hoping it was just a bad one off. So the wait times for food here is horrendous. First time it was me and two other cars. Waited over 15 minutes. Second time it was pretty packed but hit the nice little red button, waited over 10 minutes and finally left(at some point it even prompted me to hit it again). Tonight was it for me. Over 20 minutes from arriving to leaving. For moderately Luke warm burgers, cold stale fries/tots, and whoever took my order and who brought it out…. Zero customer service skills. Me and my kids love sonic, but we won’t be back to this one. Oh and not even all my items were in bags, I guess trying to use...

I ordered a number 2 meal, get all the way home to discover there is no meat or cheese on the burger.How does that happen at a burger joint! When I called and asked what they intended to do about it, the only option they would offer is for me to drive clear across friendswood to retrieve the burger and that is it. Nothing is offered for the simple fact I just paid $10.00 for a hamburger bun, it the fact I would have to pack up my kid and drive all the way back there to get what should have been in the bag. I honestly never get this upset about this kinda thing, there was just no sincerety at all. I will retrieve that burger and I will never give this business...
