Hero Cha — Restaurant in Friendswood

I never leave reviews, but Hero Cha is so good I had to. It’s hands-down my favorite boba place. I’ve tried countless boba spots across the country, and nothing compares. The employees are always friendly, and I’ve consistently had a great experience here.

They have an extensive menu of boba teas, coffees, food items, and more, and they’re constantly adding new things. Hero Cha offers more variety than any boba place I’ve been to. I’ve been a regular since they opened in January 2023, and my family and I have tried many items and enjoyed them all. I can’t recommend it enough. Alright, new boba place you gotta try. It is SO good. They use fresh organic fruits and ingredients and brew the tea fresh on the spot and you can tell. Even the taro is fresh. It's also a full bakery and has a lot of food. I can't wait to come back and try some of the baked goods. They had lots of buns, Japanese cheesecake, and mille crepe cake. We got the seasonal special, Dirty Taro (so so good and look at that cute ghost!), and the classic milk tea. They were out of regular tapioca boba (because they make them fresh!) so we got the crystal boba and I have no regrets. My husband and I decided to explore Friendswood and came across this little hole in the wall called Hero Cha. As you walk in, you see beautiful pastels surround you, a delicious bakery smell, Pokémon plush for sale, and the friendliest woman at the register wearing the cutest outfit ever for a coffee shop!! We didn’t know what to get so we asked for recommendations and ordered two Vietnamese sandwiches (combination for me + tofu for my husband who’s vegetarian); a salted caramel cream coffee + a Vietnamese coffee; a chicken and basil pastry; and two Nutella pastries.
