The park is not open 24/7. Only the walking path is open but if you go anytime after sunset be ready with flashlight and something to fight off the raccoons. At night half of the park is completely dark while the other half is well lit. None of the motion sensors lights in the dark half of the park works. All the sprinklers are watering everything but the grass. Groundskeeper at Stevenson either have no idea what he's doing or extremely lazy. It's a great park during day time but night time I would suggest tagging along with a friend. Come on Friendswood, use all the money park event makes to fix the dark parts of the park at night and fix the sprinklers. We are tired of getting soaked while we try to run. There is a lovely nature trail that surrounds the entire park, and Stevenson's provides quite a bit of history of the Stevenson's Park throughout the nature trail as well.
