Sno Beach — Restaurant in Friendswood

The best sno-cones in the area by far! The homemade sweet cream is the best on any flavor. Needless to say we absolutely love Sno Beach but I have to brag on the owner. I don’t know her name but she is the sweetest person and she hires the nicest employees, they are always patient and polite. Just one of many pleasant experiences…Late one day I took my nephew who was visiting from out of the country to have a sno-cone and sit for a chat, unknowingly we sat and talked until closing time when my son called and asked us to bring him a sno-cone, as I got up to ordered I noticed they were closed and proceed to turn to walk away. The owner came up to me and asked if I needed anything and said no thank you you’ve already closed. She said it was no problem and stopped what she was doing and went back in and made me a sno-cone for my son and did not want to take my money. She made my son’s day and gave my teenage nephew a great experience of hometown hospitality on his first visit in the US. He said people in our town were so polite...

They need work!!! Its frustrating to buy a snow cone from a place like this and be disappointed more than once. I think their snow cones r a little too pricey. I find huge chunks of ice in mine everytime (not fun at all I pay for that Hawaiian ice). They r a greedy with the flavoring. I ended up with plain ice at the bottom of my cup on more than one occasion (I actually witnessed a lady walk up to the window to add more of the flavoring to her cup so she could finish). So I stopped going there about a yr ago for myself. My kids still r ok with it but the best snow cones r at tropical chill in deer park. Never have had a problem. I drive out of my way to get the snow cones in deer park. Worth it! I feel they should get some pointers from this other place. I feel like either people don't know a good snow cone so their review is good or they r being nice. Try one in deer park...u may never come back to this...

I worked at Sno Beach for 5 years, while in high school and in college, years ago. The last three times I’ve been here for a sno cone, my sno cone has not been great. The girls are super friendly. My complaint is that they cant seem to put enough juice in a sno cone to even make it down to the bottom of the cup. The bottom half of my sno cones are always just ice. Also, I’m super sad about how the cream has changed. It’s used to be the best cream of any sno cone place around. Now it just tastes foamy with not much flavor. Ive gone back 3 different times thinking maybe it was just an off day, but I’m super sad to say that it was not. Also, the ice is different, but not sure how. Definitely, not the old...
