Chans Donuts — Restaurant in Frisco

Wow, FANTASTIC EATS! I stopped by on a whim Friday morning and so glad I did. Family owned small business and today was their soft opening.

Donuts were fresh and not "too sweet" which is something I think is critical especially if you like to eat more than one like me. They've got a wide selection from the classics (plain glazed, cake, chocolate, strawberry) to more distinctive (matcha, red velvet) and beyond.

Kolaches were A1! They had quite the variety with my personal favorite as the smaller jalapeno kolaches [all are good though, I tried a bunch lol]. The breading is definitely unique (flaky, not too heavy, and fresh).

Writing this the next day because I was so impressed how I didn't feel terrible even though we had quite the spread yesterday morning (see the pics below). Owners were so kind and helpful as I sometimes can get overwhelmed with so many delicious options.

Just writing this has got me wanting to go back and sure it'll be a staple moving forward. Excited to "try them all" and glad that I'm able to support this small family...

I really want to give a zero.. very bad customer service upon walking in I said good morning twice and no response was given but another customer walks in a different race and immediately yelled good morning so loud that felt like a slap to the face..how can you treat people so different but want to have a successful business..just pick a side no one will get mad really I would respect you more and know where im welcome...psalm 23:4 even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me....

The absolute best shop around. The quality cannot be matched. I've been to places in plano, prosper, coppell, McKinney, Frisco and nobody can touch the kolachkis or the donuts at Chan's. The ratio of dough to meat is spot-on. And so is the texture. Everywhere else I go they have oversized meat or oversized dough. And it doesn't seem quality control is of concern at these other places. Chan's is quality from top to bottom. The donuts are amazing. Perfect texture, sweet but not too sweet. This place is the best donut shop I have ever been...
