Heres what I told McDonald's corporate, and it's the same review I'm giving the Little Elm location, nix all these pretty stars... I went to the McDonald's on FM 423 in Little Elm just before midnight. I waited in line, and pulled up to the menu board. I then waited 7 minutes there, with radio silence; nothing from the cashier. Finally, he comes on and says, " Welcome to McDonald's, were only taking cash right now." I was furious. I'm a cashier, and there are two things he did that made me flip my top: 1) He made the customer wait without speaking or saying one moment, or even apologizing for the wait. 2) He made the customer wait all that time only to say, we're only taking cash. It was inconsiderate and rude. Well, I could've gone somewhere else, but I really wanted mcnuggets now, and I wanted to try that Sriracha sauce, so I drove 3 minutes up the road to this store on the tollway, where I should've gone in the first place. I got there, pulled up, and the cashier did the right thing, he said, "Welcome to McDonald's, can you give me one moment please?" He then apologized for the wait, and listened to me explain what happened at the other store. He apologized for their mistake, something he didn't have to do, and let me know how much he appreciated me coming to his store, rather than going somewhere else. The manager here said he would look into the issue for me, as they are franchised by the same person, and I appreciate that. This is my favorite store...
Read moreOk... We were out running errands and decided to stop in at the McDonald's on Eldorado parkway and the Toll road. The wait was a little longer than expected since there were only 2 other people waiting. So we placed our order. 1 Big Mac, 1 double cheese burger and another Big Mac with 3 drinks and a large fries. The total was $17.50. After waiting about 10 minutes to get our order, Melissa went back up to the counter and asked the girl about their special on the board, 2 for $5.00, that included Big Macs. The girl behind the counter told Melissa that since we didn't say we wanted the 2 for $5.00, there isn't anything she could do. So I went up there and asked to talk to the manager. She came up and I explained that the special on the board was 2 for $5.00 and I wanted the difference back. She first said ok. But she was quick to change her tune when she said we had to ask for the 2 for $5.00. I told her the sign doesn't say that. She finally gave me the difference back. Not only was this so unprofessional, but the place was a filthy mess. Tables not cleaned, wrappers and napkins on the floor. The drink fountain was very nasty. Spilled drinks all over the counter. I hope that McDonald's reads this and explain why we had to ask for the 2 for $5.00 and when we didn't order it that way, why didn't the girl behind the counter suggest that or ring it up that way? We will never go back...
Read moreHorrible customer service . The kids wanted to stop here for fries after their game . We went through drive thru around 10:30 pm on a Wednesday night ‘ placed our order for a large fry . Get to the window the older lady Asks how can I help you , I said we had a large fry ‘ my son payed with wireless pay ‘ only to pay for an order that was not his . She proceeded to tell us ‘ she does not have our order . A guy walks ups and asks her rudely , what are you doing ‘ she explains , then he comes to the window to tell us he does not have a order for a Large fry ‘ I stated someone took our order ‘ he says I’m taking orders and I dont have your order ‘ I said you guys made a mistake , he proceeds to tell us to drive around and get back in line if we want to order . I told him there has to be something you can do ‘ like why would we lie about Fries. I was tired ‘ I pulled off not realizing my son paid for the order behind us . We come back to get a refund ‘ and the manager takes us through the wringer’ saying he could not refund because we didn’t have an order or a receipt. After showing the charge on the phone ‘ he refunded the charge but stated he had to refund a different amount with a few cents over . I did not mind ‘ he said sorry for the inconvenience, apologized and we left . Now we’re just waiting to see if the charge will be refunded....
