LG’s Pizzeria and Pub — Restaurant in Frostburg

My wife and I went to LG's Pizzeria and Pub during a brief stop in Frostburg while riding the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. The food was good when it eventually arrived. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with fries, which she said was just okay. I had a burger on a very well-toasted gluten-free bun. The meat was fresh, juicy, and flavorful—definitely the highlight of the meal.

The main issue was the wait time—our food took about 30 minutes to arrive. During that time, one server was eating lunch and chatting with customers at the bar, while the other disappeared for long stretches. That took away from the experience, especially since we were on a tight schedule and hoping to explore Frostburg a bit more before heading back to the train.

Overall, the food was good, but be prepared for a potentially long wait. If you're short on time and want to explore the town, you might want to consider...

My family and I have dined here before. Now, we have four small sons and these people from staff to owner have always been so great and accommodating no matter what...but tonight took the title, the crown, the championship.

We called in earlier in the day with a bday party of 25 for my 7yr old son Max...which by dinner time had ballooned to 36. They didn't miss a beat. Hell, even I felt sort of bad to just drop this amount of people on a restaurant but the owner and the staff made us feel as welcome as any other day of the week. The night was perfect, all had fun and enjoyed the food and drinks. They truly give you their very best every time and the meal is always excellent!

We visited Frostburg in order to hang out with some friends. We have a toddler so we can’t get out much on our own. We almost always have him with us and Frostburg was no exception. We visited LGs in order to watch an Ohio State game and have some. We ordered a couple of their pizzas and they turned out to be outstanding. We couldn’t believe the quality of the food. So great we returned several times over the weekend - we are foodies. Also, the owner saw us struggling with our toddler and offered to let us take him into a play area meant for her kids. It was amazing and my 18-month-old loved it. Lastly, they had a fabulous beer selection and fantastic customer service. They were so awesome we still talk about going back...
