It has a lot of real carriages no remakes although they have been restored. We had a tour. The man was real nice. If you are not part of the train ride, it cost $2 to get in. If you donate more you will get the tour. But can be walked through on your own

This is a lovely carriage museum and if you are in the area, or even making this a destination, you won't be disappointed. So many carriages and sleighs on display and they have signs and even little sceneries set up to highlight the exhibit.

Like several other reviews here, this was an amazing collection of carriages, with an outstanding overview and tour provided by the museum's caretaker, and I'm not even drawn to carriages! It was so interesting and informative, and the collection, was simply amazing! We stumbled upon this museum when the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad ride we did stopped in Frostburg. Highly recommended, regardless of whether you're interested...

I'm giving this museum five stars because I've never seen such a fine collection of carriages except at the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, Indiana and in Europe of course. The gentleman in charge was extremely knowledgeable about the collection. Worth a look for sure. Excellent original tack selection as well...

We did the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad tour from Cumberland to Frostburg and were happy that the museum opened during our stopover. We talked a lot with the very knowledgeable docent who provided a lot of fun details. A lot of history here that more people...
