Conie's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Fruit Cove

I've always loved ice cream but you would never find me in an ice cream shop until a friend told me about Conies! I fell in love my first visit and Ive been going everyday since. They have the best ice cream sandwiches that are made with big Oreo cookies!!!!! They also have the best shakes, freezes(slushy with ice cream), sundaes, dipped cones(multiple flavor dips), basically anything you can think of they have the best!!! I would put 0 stars if I could, honest to god. This review is not about the ice cream, but about the management and staff that comes along with it. If you’ve ever had a job that you’ve absolutely hated, and treated it as such, welcome to dreamette ice cream, the old lady behind the counter(I’m assuming she’s a manager) is just a flat out mean person. On the several occasions that I’ve been there, I’ve see her yell at teenagers, yell at what I’m assuming is her husband, and just flat out treat her customers poorly. I used to visit the original Dreamette on the West side as a little girl and as an adult, this is one thing I missed very much whenever I moved to Mandarin from the west side. I am so excited that we now have our very own right close to my home. I visited here for the first time last night and had a vanilla dipped cone with toasted coconut and my friend had his first ever dipped cone and he loved it as well.
