My husband and I are fairly regular customers, we love your food and enjoy the personalities of your staff. I thought maybe I shouldn't leave a review but changed my mind because we are regulars and our visit yesterday was very disappointing. We arrived around 5pm on Sunday (yesterday 8/28) and found many tables open, including all bar high tops with only one customer at the bar. We placed our orders and enjoyed our appetizers which came out fairly quickly. My husband ordered the Maverick Ribeye Sandwich and when our main courses came out we both found our fries to be cold. We asked our server if we could please have fresh hot fries. My husband then tried his sandwich. By the second bite he couldn't eat anymore because it was so spicy/hot. We asked the server if that was normal as nothing indicates spicy on the menu. We were told the proprietary seasoning mentioned can be spicy especially if someone is heavy handed with it. My husband was in the process of scraping off the meat while he was offered a remake. He declined saying he thinks scraping it off will be fine. He reassembled his sandwich and after one bite he looked miserable. I tried a bite and instantly found my mouth and lips burning. I went to the bar to let our server know that even I tried it and found it inedible and asked for the remake with no seasoning on the meat. I proceeded to finish my meal sans fries while my husband sat. 2 other couples joined the bar area and the restaurant was getting busier. The fries finally came out after my meal was done, and then the remake came out about at least another 10 minutes later. The server that brought the sandwich out remarked "I heard this was too done for you, I hope this one is better" as she walked away, which should've been the red flag. My husband took a bite of his sandwich and it was just as ridiculously spicy as the first. I tried the meat and agreed 100%. My husband left the restaurant at that point as he was not going to ask for it to be remade again. I asked for the check and let our server know what happened while asking if I needed to speak with the manger to request no charge for his sandwich. I was told no, that it would be taken off, I paid my the rest of my bill and left. Again we frequent your restaurant and would like to continue to do so. We just fell it's better to first error on the side of less seasoning is better because more can always be added. But especially when none at all is requested, staff needs to pay attention to the request. Not just for the good of the customer but we felt terrible about the waste of food. Thank you...

I was seated quickly, however it took quite some time before I was acknowledged by my server. I wasn’t keeping exact track of time, and I don’t want to spout off some random number, but my guess would be that I sat for approximately 20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged
When the extremely kind gentleman did finally acknowledge me, he appeared very stressed and out of breath. He said “It’s been a crazy day!”.....and I immediately realized that he was simply doing the best that he could.
I placed my drink order, in conjunction with my dinner entree (I had plenty of time to think about my options 😏)
The server kept showing up at the table and saying “I have ordered your drink but they are running behind up there at the bar.”
I was like “No problem. I get it!”
After the 4th or 5th time he showed up though, I was thinking “Bro, I could have served this whole restaurant drinks by now!”.
So the porterhouse arrived, and the drink still had not. No biggy, right?! WRONG!
I bite into the saltiest piece of meat that I have ever tasted in my life. We are talking 200/125 BP instantaneously! I mean this steak could have de thawed the entire road system of Alaska, in January!
So, I ask the kind gentleman if this is standard. He says “OH YES! They go heavy on the spices!”
I asked if he could please ask them to make the steak without so much salt. He said “Absolutely!”
Steak comes back out and it is still brutally seasoned! I gave up at that point and just paid my tab.
I spent roughly $50 on a meal that I could not eat and a drink that came 1/2 way through my meal.
Sorry Longhorn but I work too hard for my money to be highly disappointed like this. No future visits for me, my family, nor my friends

6-6-2020 - Our Favorite Restaurant is opened back up again for dining in! Not everything is back on the menu yet, but we made do and got the Yummy Longhorn Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken & the Super Yummy 9 oz Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Broccoli... The entire visit was Awesome! Our waitress Kathryn T checked on us quite often and was right on top of filling my husband's coffee... I do have 1 complaint, but not about Longhorn or their wonderful staff... But about another customer group. (A Husband, Wife, Husbands parents, & 2 boys) From our booth, they seemed to be having a Great & Loud time! Enjoying their food and the company! However, after the bill came, they seem to have an issue. As they left they were trying to find a manager, found their server (who happened to be the same server as us, Kathryn)... He went off on her and complained big time about them not being able to see the expression on her face because of the face mask that she was wearing, saying she was Rude. (All employees were wearing a mask!) He also told her that she had a bad attitude... A manager came by and spoke to the husband & then the wife because the husband walked away. Some people have No Respect for the working people, especially those who are working during this COVID-19 Pandemic! I'm sorry but Kathryn did an Awesome Job and was a Very Kind and quick waitress!
