Lana Thai is a fairly new restaurant on “The Island”. I have always been a fan of a Thai cuisine and was looking forward to a delicious meal. This restaurant delivered it in spades ♠️. We started with fried Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon. The Rolls were crispy, flaky goodness wrapped around fresh vegetables that you could tell were never frozen. The sauce that accompanied them was a Thai twist on the Sweet Pepper Sauce most places serve. Almost like they used it as a base but added a vinegar, spices, and crushed nuts. All together it was very good. The Crab Rangoon was again flaky, crispy goodness but wrapped around a crab/cream cheese mixture. Again they put their Thai twist on this approach by adding what tasted like turmeric to me. It was an interesting idea I would not think of but turned out to be a nice success. It is a bit of a shock only because you expect Crab Rangoon a certain way. This too was accompanied with the same sauce only now crushed peanuts. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken. The middle were cooked perfectly. Nice and springy. The egg on top was fresh and made to order. The vegetables were fresh and crispy. The sauce was flavorful, and enough to give you a generous coating to your noodles. It came with a garnish of bean sprouts and crushed peanuts. I really like mine peanutty so I got extra peanuts. The whole thing was fantastically good. Truly one of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. The staff greeted us warmly upon entering and we were seated very quickly. They were very attentive through out our entire visit. Even stopping to give my 1 year old a high five. Any questions we had about the menu was answered promptly and some suggestions were made to us based on our personal pallet. The price is a little higher than most Thai spots but this isn’t some fast food Asian spot. This is a nicer style restaurant and the quality you get is second to none. Bottom line, start to finish Lanna Thai restaurant is simply spectacular. Great food, fantastic service, and beautiful atmosphere make this a go to Thai Spot.

You're watching a stage show. You're there specifically because of the lead actor. However, something is off. The set has been saturated, amplified, and over-designed to the point of being gaudy and offputting. I went to this Thai eatery for a "basil fried rice" lunch. It was around Thursday noon and a couple of other tables were occupied. I drank water. The dish arrived with ingredients that were lubricated to the max by Thai chili paste (oil). It felt like eating regurgitated food. I don't need to eludicate, just see the photo (which shows that much oil even with most of the food already eaten). I came very close to letting my inner "Bob Ross" urge—Thai food style—take over. Of course, one tragic result was the star of the dish (hint: it's the Thai basil) unable to shine. A normally bright/aromatic plant but, this time, had been cruelly drowned in a sweet liquid. As though the chef had physically used his own two hands to squeeze the life out of the poor herb, until only a few degenerated and dispirited leaves were left to pity this customer.

Our favorite Thai in the area hands down. I was especially happy when I called last month to see if they would be open for dinner for Valentine’s Day despite Tuesday being their normal day closed and they were. They had an adorable atmosphere for Valentine’s Day with balloons all over. Food was as delicious as ever and the atmosphere which was already romantic was perfect for Valentine’s Day! Hubby and I may have to make this our regular spot for Valentine’s Day!!!! For this visit he had the drunken noodles with tofu and I had the tofu pad Thai. Both were perfectly cooked and well balanced flavors. Their garden salad with ginger dressing is to die for. The simple salad comes alive with a tangy ginger dressing that puts any hibachi ginger dressing (that’s mostly carrots) to shame. They will happily customize dishes where ever possible to omit eggs and fish and oyster sauces to make vegetarian or vegan dishes. I highly recommend a stop here if you enjoy truly delicious Thai.

What a sad representation of an authentic Thai restaurant. Such unkind & unprofessional staff.. My $15 dish did not have the ingredients that were listed on the Google menu online .. It clearly states that there were green beans. When I called, the woman said that they don't have green beans because of the hurricane. I said you should let people know that and offer a substitution of a vegetable if you're paying $15 for a vegetarian dish with the only other vegetables being carrots and onion. I said I would like to please have the dish remade with broccoli. She agreed. However, when I came back , she said she would not remake it. This same thing happened several months ago when I placed a to go order, but I politely decided not to complain and I decided to give them a second chance. I also asked for it to be a level 3 spicy, and it had no spice at all and only 3 pineapple... So discouraging that a pineapple fried rice dish lacked so many key ingredients.. this restaurant chooses to take advantage of its customers by gouging prices and placing blame on a hurricane for such a thing as green beans. I'm pretty sure that every grocery store in town has many options for purchasing green beans..frozen, canned and fresh green beans! Surely something was available. To lie to a customer and not even make it right shows such a lack of good business practice. If you menu changes , update your online menu, that's what people read when they order to go items.. Please, DO NOT waste your money on this arrogant, rude , dishonest staff & restaurant... Shame on Your...

update at the bottom* One of my best dining experiences.

The environment inside is very inviting and cozy; the interior design is gorgeous.

The tables are set up very nicely, food presentation is beautiful and thought out, and the food itself is amazing. I wish I had taken photos.

Working in customer service myself for 5 years, including being a supervisor , the two gentleman serving my friend and I yesterday had excellent service and were very kind. They checked on us multiple times as well and spoke very softly and politely.

The prices arent bad either.

It was my first time here and won't be the last.

Update: once again, excellent customer service!! This is my second visit. The gentlemen working today were very kind and attentive to guests and myself. The yellow curry and Thai tea here are delicious !

I had a situation today that prevented me from eating indoors so I was going to get my food to go, but they made sure I could enjoy my meal and invited me to dine-in. They insisted, and it made my day.

Update 2: I went back again recently and had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful owner, Larry! You can telvhe genuinely cared about his guests here. Great and genuine customer service is hard to come by...I have had nothing but great experiences here from...
