This is a late post from last week… Today, as I do almost every day, I visited the Starbucks on Euclid and Rosecrans. Unfortunately, I had a rather unusual experience. I waited patiently in the drive-thru, but the cashier did not show up for quite some time. As I was leaving, I honked my horn lightly to make my presence known. When I got to the cashier window, she told me to be careful with the horn. I told her, "I've never waited this long or honked my horn before. Let's not talk anymore." But she kept talking. If the cashier had just acknowledged the delay with a simple apology, the situation could have been handled more gracefully. I have always appreciated Starbucks' reputation for polite and attentive service, so today's experience was disappointing. Read moreUsed to frequent this SB and a huge fan of drinks. It's been getting worse and worse to a point I do not get espresso anymore, but get cheapest coffee when I need to hang out. I had a hope the new CEO would make changes to a better side. I do not care about LGBTQ, or restroom policy, but was hoping drinks get back to what they used to be. Regular ice coffee today was literally worse than one I can get from a gas station. Please check what your staff are doing. I used to complain to HQ then immediate action was taken and drinks got perfect. Now all I hear is a general email reply saying SB is trying hard to keep us happy. Read moreThey have reopened today, 1/29/24, after being closed for 3-4 weeks for remodeling. The store looks entirely different now and there is way less seating indoors. The counter area is enormous. A single bathroom. It looks very new. There are 5 small round tables inside and one larger square handicapped table. Lots of seating outside like before.
