So I frequent Starbucks quite a bit. I will say that this is the third time I’ve had a problem at the Starbucks so I won’t be returning.
On a different occasion about a month ago, I go into Starbucks to get my Venti iced caramel macchiato and I need to use the restroom so the employees proceeded to tell me that I cannot use the restroom unless I purchase something so I didn’t think anything of it. This area that I’m in there’s no homeless or any type of vagrants. It’s a pretty nice area so I told the staff that I was going to purchase something, but I need to use the restroom so they gave me the restroom code.
Fast-forward to today, which is April 2, 2025. I go into Starbucks and I’m gonna buy a breakfast sandwich but I need to take my vitamins and my blood thinners and I ask for a Venti ice water. Now mind you I’ve never had a problem in any other Starbucks And as a former Truck Driver I’ve been to Starbucks all across the country. I mean, I can get the same drink at a lesser coffee shop or I could get an iced coffee at McDonald’s for $.99 but I go to Starbucks because I’m a loyal customer.
Horatio proceeds to tell me that he cannot give me any water without an additional purchase. What he doesn’t know was I was about to also get a sandwich, but I need to take my pills before I do anything, but the way that he came across was so nonchalantly disrespectful that I immediately pulled out my phone and did this review. I don’t know what’s going on with Starbucks bottom line that they would have a problem with giving out a water because the store is the only store in the location and I’m sure the numbers are pretty terrific. I feel slighted….. I feel disrespected….. I feel like he looked down on me like I was some type of serf and he was aristocracy.
Usually, I don’t write up reviews and I just go about my day but it’s very sad that I have to write up a review because customer service was that disrespectful.
HORATIO …… thank you for not giving me a water. I will now on just go next-door to McDonald’s and get an iced coffee for $.99. If I was a coffee business owner something as small as a water is nothing compared to repeat foot traffic. But just like target and Tesla and other companies you’re going to have to learn to treat your customers with the respect that they deserve or else you’re going to lose value customers, which is losing value foot traffic which is affecting your bottom line.
Thank you HORATIO. You may not lose immediate business but when you start treating customers bad and they start reading reviews, you’re going to have a history of poor customer service.
Just remember Tesla and target we’re doing amazing until they lost their customer base and now loyal target shoppers are frequent Walmart and people who purchase Teslas are opting to spend money with the competition or just buy gas vehicles

Read moreI had the worst experience at this location. I have been going to Starbucks on the regular since 2011. Bree at the register had the most smug attitude as I asked questions regarding the drink and my options. Then the barista had the audacity to repeat my order to Bree and Bree laughed and said, "yeah, she ordered it like that because it's cheaper." The barista making my drink laughed along with her and broadened her eyes as if my order was "crazy." I cancelled my ordered and requested a refund. I let Bree know that I heard their belittling conversation about my order. Then as I was walking out they were all giggling. I turned back around and asked for the manager. Sarah was not in but her stand-in, Amber, was and unfortunately she was also part of the cackling after I requested my refund. I did not feel at all comfortable letting her know how my experience was with the other two baristas. I got Sarah's info but after the reviews I read on here doesn't seem it'll get better.
