Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Gadsden

I've only been to the drive thru at the Gadsden location next to the Petro, they're nice there but the food is almost always bad. First time there I ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal, I like onions but they put an INSANE amount of onions on the burger, the bacon was mostly raw and the fries were half cooked, which had an INSANE amount of salt on them. I would have had to wash them off to eat them, it's like someone spilled the salt shaker on them. Next time there the fries were cooked better, still not all the way but they had no salt at all, I asked for no onions on the bacon burger, got onions anyway and the bacon still wasn't fully cooked. Time after that I got half raw fries again and a good burger for once. This morning, which will be my last time visiting any Jacks anywhere, I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The bacon was almost COMPLETELY raw and the biscuit couldn't have been more than halfway cooked, it was basically dough. Made the mistake of actually taking a couple of bites and my stomach hurts an hour later. I don't get how these Jacks are as busy as they are, it's a shame too because I love that they usually have truck parking. Really should have the Gadsden location surprise inspected and retrained by someone from corporate before someone gets...

Rude staff. Totally unfriendly. Spent more time goofing off than working. I am the only one inside the restaurant and it took forever to get a Big Jack combo. The same place that had staff wearing masks last year looking like a bunch of masked bandits is serving food on visibly dirty trays and over half of the tables were dirty. I think I would be focusing on proper sanitation which is what is most important. I was drinking unsweet tea and I go to get a refill and all tea urns had been removed since I got my initial drink. I go the counter and ask for a refill and they tell me they poured out the unsweet tea. Yet it's 8:20 PM and the restaurant is open until 10. The goofy girl said we can pour you some sweet tea. Now why would a diabetic drinking unsweet tea be okay with drinking sweet tea? Hold on....it gets better....then the goofball said we have lemonade. Yes and that has sugar in it as well. What a disaster! Needless to say I will NOT be back at this...

I normally do not go to this Jack's but it was on the way home this might. Jack's food is most often good for fast food and Jack's one of the best ff restaurants related to customer service This night not their strong suit. The young man taking my order was the highlight but the other staff seemed to be only interested in the customer.

Because of the price hikes since COVID I now expect much more from fast food than I did in the past. The food has not improved, from r any of the ff franchises and the average meal per person running 7.5 to 12.00 per person I believe money would be better spent on the next level of of sit down restaurant. For the price I can get a low end entree from Chili's, or applebee's and pay just about the same. If the franchises do not find a way to add value to the product the fast foods we saw close during this past 12 months is just...
