Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Gainesville

So I went to Green Street Dairy Queen around 8:35/8:40pm on 7/20. I pull up and immediately I’m met with “what do you want?” I say medium cotton candy blizzard, before I could finish she says “what else?” I say nothing and she says “5.77” nothing else. She was obviously really annoyed that I was there. I’ve worked restaurants my whole life so while her tone aggravated me a little, I was willing to look past it. Maybe she’s having a bad day, hey we have all been there. So I drive off thinking nothing of it.

I got to the drive-through & hand my car to a much nicer man. While he was running it, the girl came up to the window with my blizzard. She says “heres your cotton candy blizzard” & I could tell that It was obviously the same girl… Well as she was already mad, she tosses the throws my blizzard in my hands, and that’s not normally how DQ employees hand them to us so of course I do not catch it. It falls to the ground. She yells damn it, slam shut the sliding glass door, and starts yelling inaudible things, and everyone working in the Dairy Queen looks at me. There must’ve been 10-15 people staring right at me. I am in shock.

The guy with my card comes back gives it to me and I am in shock. I wasn’t expecting everyone to look at me. I literally didn’t even say sorry. He can tell my facial expression and says don’t worry about it. You’re fine and shuts the door. People are still looking so I almost just drive off. I’m embarrassed but I didn’t think I did anything wrong. then he comes back a little later with my blizzard so I just accept it and drive off apologizing

I am a human and I make mistakes just like everyone else but I’m almost certain that the blizzard drop was not my fault tonight. But more importantly, her yelling and hollering, drawing attention to let everyone in the building know that I did something wrong… it’s embarrassing. It’s degrading and demeaning. I had everyone looking at me like a criminal. Honestly it’s just MEAN! She was very unprofessional and rude I highly encourage reader to do something about...

Came in the Resturant on Green Street on 08/18/2019 the 4:00 PM manager had nasty attitude. I called on 08/19/2019 to report the issue the morning manager asked alot of questions then tell me that I had to call back and speak with Rick from 11AM - 2PM. I return to Dairy Queen 08/23/2019 at 8PM order hamburger and 8 hotdogs the hotdogs and bun was frozen like the ice cream cakes and the slaw taste like it had set out all day. Two of the 8 hotdogs was chilli dogs paid for when we get home NO CHILLI DOGS IN BAG REALLY REALLY REALLY. Is this serious of the owners response after stating they left my 2 chilli dogs out and the food was was frozen. Not one time did I read the response that the owner would replace the order. Sad sad sad Rick. Return to dairy queen on 09/16/2023 order two chicken strips basket and it's stated that you could add drink instead I added two blizzard the order taker didn't allow me to know that you couldn't substitute drinks for blizzard nor give me total until I gotten to window and my total was 35.00 I ask why my order was that price and he couldn't tell me instead of him getting a manager he brings another employee to the window to...

Went here to get something quick and usually good, however that was not the case. Ordered the Flame Thrower burger with onion rings with extra sauce and a honey mustard sauce. I also ordered a grill burger with onion rings and a honey mustard. Firstly the girl charged my .39 cents for each additional sauce and charged me for slaw for the flame thrower sauce which was .49 cents. So when I got our food, the flame thrower sauce was damn near nonexistent and when I told her I wasn’t paying .49 cents for less than a mustard packet worth of sauce she went to the back to get more. She comes back and she barely had anymore and her excuse was they ran out of it 🙄 when asked about taking it off she said no she couldn’t do that. Got home and opened the box and there was only 5 dang onion rings in each box! WTH Dairy Queen are they made of gold? So we tried the burgers and they were cold, dry and barely edible. Needless to say one of the worst experiences I have ever had and I will make sure everyone knows how bad it has gotten there. If I could give it...
