Picked up to-go order, disappointed with the quantity and response to missing item. My wife called to order our food; sub sandwich, calzone, kid's meal, spinach artichoke dip, and a brownie for dessert. When the order was placed my wife asked if the brownie was large enough to be shared and was told it was big enough for 2-3 people to share. When I picked up the order I assumed everything was in the bags I was given, I was wrong. The brownie to be shared was missing...in addition when I checked the cup that the spinach and artichoke dip was in, about 1/4 cup of dip was all that we received. Normally the issue with the dip wouldn't be an issue, but it just added insult to injury. I called the store and asked about the brownie and was told "we charged you for it, can you come and get it?" I said yes, and they said it would be ready in 5 minutes. I drove the 15 minutes back to the restaurant, told the counter person what I was there to get and was told it would take a few minutes. This was strange since I was told that it would be ready in 5 minutes. I was only offered a half-hearted sorry and nothing else. I assume that I should have been belligerent-that way I could have been compensated for the extra trip back and the cold food I returned to since the whole experience wasted about an hour of my life. It was a Saturday, not yet too busy but there was no proactive response. I have worked in customer service, I have made mistakes in customer service, the response I received indicated that no one really cared. If I return and there is an issue, I will act out so at least someone will pretend to care, just to get me to calm down. PS: The picture is of the brownie that somehow will serve 2-3 people,...

Only giving 2 stars because the food is good. We came in this past Sunday for dinner and left very disappointed. First complaint was our waitress (long curly red hair, did not mention her name) She took our order; pretzel bites and 3 pizzas. We waited an hour for our appetizer which she did give us half off which was appreciated. What was not appreciated was the fact we waited so long for her to come back for refills that I decided to go to the bar to do it myself. And this leads me to why I am writing this complaint, when I went to the bar there were two women at the computer, I asked if they served coke that I needed a refill. The women laugh and one says ‘yeah it is right there (pointed towards the kitchen) You can get it yourself’!! I looked at them confused and in shock. Here I am a customer having to get up to get my own refill you would think to have common sense to see that and apologized and get me my coke right? She took my cup and said she would get it for me, they continued joking trying to play it off saying ‘yeah just make yourself at home’. I was furious! After I got my drink 20 minutes later the appetizer came and then 30 minutes later our food came. Very disappointed with the carelessness of the staff and the wait for the food. Other than that the food was good but we will not be returning to this location instead...

Updated April 25 2021, Wow , we went to have a salad lunch at 12:15 or there about we were sat immediately and our waitress ( Ray ) took our orders and helped to recommend options which made for a very awesome lunch. She kept our drinks filled and checked on us with extra ordinary attentive service. The manage came to our table and checked on us , that was nice . With the crowd growing he took the initiative to come in to our section and turn down the sound level so the noise wasnt bad and we could talk at a reasonable level . This visit in my opinion has bee the best restaurant visit of any restaurants in Gainesville in the last three years at least. Absolutely 💯 % pleasant food and service 👍

I usually don't enjoy going because the crowd is very noisy, but we sat in a different location and the noise wasn't as bad . The food was good we had mushroom soup and a stuffed portobello cap. Then our pizza arrived. It was just a pepperoni with light cheese I had asked if it could be cooked well done. It was ok but not well done. The service however was outstanding this time. Much better than previous visits. Our waitress was helpful and courteous. The hostess kept checking in on us as well. She was very busy because of a full house but she was doing...

Our favorite post game spot to eat is this location of Mellow Mushroom - tucked away in a historic house on Green Street! The food is always delivered as ordered and with the apps actually arriving first - which seems be to a lost art. Tonight we tried the pretzel bites which are served with none other than a PBR cheese dip and marinara. Won’t lie this was a great start to our meal. We always choose the Greek salad and tonight it was perfect; loaded with the yummy toppings and just enough lettuce. Last up was calzones all around. They were all stuffed with cheese and our favorite toppings and baked to perfection. But I cant finish this review without a callout on the service. Our waiter was very friendly and we were never looking for him. He checked in at all the right times and even asked the manager to change the closest tv to the game we wanted to watch. All around great place to get your pizza fix.

This location screams Mellow Mushroom. From the moment you walk in, the history of the location allows you to embrace the ambiance that is mellow mushroom. The staff were prompt and courteous as we had no wait. The new menus are a you would say "far out." My wife and I absolutely love the design. Although my wife had some upsets during this visit with items being removed from the menu or out of stock, we were able to make it enjoyable. Our server was spectacular. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area or passing through. This is the place to be. Items we hope return The mushroom soup. My wife loved this soup, and it was all she could talk about for weeks. Hopefully, corporate will change their minds. Items we missed out on: The lavender lemonade - no lavender And no Chives on our Sriracha wings.
