Mixed results. A couple of months ago I tried the place and I was delighted with the fried rice and freshness of the other plates ordered. On our way home from Yesterday from Leesburg we wanted to stop by again, however it was something complete different. According to the door sign it close @ 9:00pm, we arrive @ 8:25 and asked to sit but the Lady was very rude to us, while at the same time asking to order only for carry out. I guess because it was 35 minutes before closing? Perhaps, that's the way the speak to customers? Like really? I was trying to understand the Menu but it seems you have to know their stuff, cause the lady was not helpfull in the ordering process. Look, what's wrong with some suggestions/options, HELLO!!!! Sell your stufff..Well, although the food was given to us in about 15 minutes, starting from the rice, it was nothing like the previous time and not done properly. Lo-Mein was OK and the Beef w/ Broccoli was more like Broccoli w/ Good Luck with the Beef! A star was taken because of the poor service and another star was taken because you should never sacrifice or rush taste because of closure. If so hate customer arriving from 30 minutes from closing then DON'T ACCEPT ORDERS!!!! period. I would visit again, but hey, I will make sure would be...

Don't go here to eat. Let me state there were only two tables seated when we arrived. I came with three family members for dinner. We were seated at a dirty table and given one menu. Yup, you read that correctly. One menu. When we asked for more menu's we were only given one more menu. Four people two menus. Weird. We ordered glasses of water. They brought us four white foam cups and a pitcher of water. The other two tables had normal glasses and there was also a full shelf of clean glasses and mugs behind the register. We asked for hot water, which we also received in a foam cup. We asked why we weren't given the glasses on the shelf and the response was "that's all we have", implying that there weren't enough glasses. Reminder that there were only two tables seated at the time and the entire shelf was full of rows of glasses. This made no sense. We left without eating. I would not recommend dining here. If they are this cheap with the menu and glasses I don't want to know how the food is prepared. This was a very strange experience and quite tacky. They could also care less that we decided to leave. There was a nonchalant attitude towards us the entire time. No apology for poor service or anything....

Update 8/9/17: I place an order for my job and co workers here every week. Spending about $100 a month, and I always tip the driver good. I placed an order for myself around 4pm and the total came up to 14.98 and the man on the phone refused to deliver my order due to me not meeting the $15.00. minimum order, he refused over two pennies! Yet my job is no more than 17 seconds away from the restaurant! East Ocean has lost a regular customer(s) due to the negligence of two pennies. Food is good, but will not order again. Older Review

At first I was skeptical about ordering here as the price for the food what a little too pricey for the "Average Chinese Carryout". I eventually ended up giving it a try. I must say, the quality of the food is very high. It doesn't taste like the average "greasy" Chinese food. It's very clean and fresh tasting.
