Gator Bubbly Tea — Restaurant in Gainesville

I’m a regular customer; I typically order on DoorDash but today I decided to go into the store. It took them 27mins to hand me my order. All I ordered was a chocolate puffle with toppings. I observed for the entire 27mins as other people ordered similar items to mines and they received theirs in a short period of time. This place used to be my favorite spot but something needs to be done about the time management of orders. I honestly felt my order was forgotten and when they realized I was still sitting there waiting they remembered. I placed my order at 5:21pm and was handed my order at 5:48pm . This is one of 5 boba places on the street so I'll just do a run down of all 5 to help you choose. Frosty Fox - Best drinks but limited menu and space inside the shop. Tiger Sugar- Not bad but not worth going out of your way for. Tea Bestea- Best for food, drinks are just ok. Kung Fu Tea- Most variety but also big corporate chain Teastori- Also great variety (but some drinks aren't good) most are though!

As for this place the gelato black tea is the best. Kung Fu and teastori are a bit better but this place is a good compliment to the restaurants...

We had a really unfortunate and unpleasant experience with our coffee milk tea on July 29th. We tried to contact this location directly online through the main Frosty Fox social media accounts but no response. We were driving through Gainesville on our way back up to MD and my daughter and I both ordered drinks. When my daughter got to the bottom of her drink she got what she thought was a boba in her mouth but it had legs.
