Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Went in with a group of nine people as we had reserved days in advance. The waitress made us all move tables after being seated because the table they put us at didn’t have the bbq grills working. Then when they came to give our plates and water, they left them all on one corner of the table then they told us to pass it around. When I told him why we should be passing everything around instead of them doing their job and setting everything up, the guy just didn’t say anything, left the plates and said they were busy. Again, we booked days in advance on a weekend where they should not have overbooked the place or hired enough help. When the food came it was a mess, they didn’t give us sheets for the grill until after we had the meat on it and they brought way more of the cheap meat (beef/chicken) then we had ordered, leaving us with no space on the table. Then at the end they wanted an automatic 18% tip for large parties which we knew beforehand but I guess they didn’t want to put effort because they were guaranteed their tip. The food itself was not bad but if you want better food/service, BEQUE HOLIC is the way to...
Read moreMy husband and I used to eat here at least once a week when we lived in the area. We've since moved 1,000 miles away but we stop in when we're in town visiting.
This place is hands down our favorite date night spot in Gainesville. The servers are so helpful and friendly, and always make sure our drinks are full or that we don't need anything at the moment. Do the all you can eat hot pot and BBQ option - you won't regret it. We like the original soup base, or the spicy base is good too.
The conveyor belt is super fun but it only runs on busy nights or weekends when there are enough people to use it. Otherwise, your server brings you anything you want from the menu. Our server even helped us grill meats on the new bbq grills and suggested sauce combinations. The beef bulgogi and pork belly are so good on the grill. We get shaved beef, lamb, mussels, krab, and so much more for the hot pot. There's a build your own sauce bar too. It's a bit pricey and ends up being $70 for two people, but it is so much fun and very good food. You won't leave hungry. If you need dessert, get a boba from TeaStori up the road...
Read moreI went here for my birthday on the 18th and went again for the 25th and both experiences were the same considering EVERYONE was as nice as they can be. The 18th me and 6 other friends ordered pretty much the entire menu and I'll include a photo of half the food we ordered, the soup bases they have are as quality as they can get. The Bone Broth is rich and creamy with a porky tone that mixes in with the soup, the sour pickle was too much for me but it was also good if you like sour, the spicy broth was really spicy so if you're not too keen on spice get the mild so you can keep your taste buds alive. Every dish was fresh and tasted like heaven, the beef and lamb were tender even before being cooked, the shrimp is fresh and really flavorful, the pork dumplings are to DIE FOR, the squid is tough even when you cook it for the allotted time given but it's to be expected, the tofu is tofu which is great, the vegetables are fresh and cook in seconds, and everything else is amazing as well (I don't wanna make this review too long). I am definitely coming back for more especially since All You Can Eat is...
