Got an ad in the mail saying 1 large 2 toppings pizza for $6.99. Called and asked the person on the phone "Hi, do you have the special for a large pizza with 2 toppings for $6.99?" He said yes. So he asked me which 2 toppings I wanted. I told him Chicken and Mushrooms (for pickup). He said no problem, come in 15-20min. When I got there, the person on the counter asked me to pay $9 and change. I gave him my card and said nothing (we're only talking a couple of bucks here, no big deal). He gave me the receipt, and the pizza. There was a receipt of the pizza on the box that said "Spicy Chicken". So, I told him "You know that on your ad and on the phone I was told $6.99" to which he replied that Chicken is a premium toppings and is not included in the special. I said Okay. And then told him "And I didn't ask for Spicy chicken" to which he replied that they only have Spicy Chicken. I said Okay. Took my pizza and left. So, instead of letting you know while you order about premium toppings and the spicy... no, nothing. It's a big chain, why would they be so shady? They really don't need to... One thing is for sure, that was my first and last order with that...
Read moreDo not order delivery from here. 2 lg pepperoni pizzas and a bacon pizza ordered it between 530 and 550pm. Im still waiting on my food. And its 7 pm had to call the store for them to tell me it was undeliverable. Even though i spend 40 to 50 dollars with you weekly. Im over the rude employees telling me i didn't put a lot number when i did. And even put it as fate code just to be sure they got it. This has been an issue for at least 6 months, if not more. I buy pizza weekly from you and have for 23 years. But at this point, i think this will be my last time ordering with howies. A few of my friends have had the same experience with the app and the employees of this store. The sad part is i love howies that why i buy it weekly. But now, at this point, im calling corprate tomorrow about my almost 2 hour wait for 3 pizzas. And dont know if i will ever order from here again other than my 2 free pizzas from points cus i buy a lot...
Read moreI called the store to place my order because I had specific instructions I needed to relay to a person and not an answering service or online no room for extended instructions. When the girl answered the phone I said I wanted to place an order and before I could explain why I needed to speak to a human being instead of online or the call center (that always messes up the order) she hurried up and hunh up sfter saying call the call center. Plus, it was so loud in the background. How rude & unprofessional. People who don't wanna work need to stay home instead of applying to work in these folks establishment to be lazy. I actually had stopped eating here over a Year ago because the employees were always so hood, mean and ratchet but thought I could fill my craving and thought hmmm maybe they'd have a better new breed of employees with better attitudes...guess NOT.
