My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and she’s always been health conscious. But now that she’s home and losing weight, she’s been eating whatever she wants. Today, while she was at her chemo appointment, she said she wanted to have Jimmy John’s. Do I went to grab it after they opened. I had no idea the terrible service I was going to get because it was around 11:25 when I went in. They just opened and haven’t encountered a lot of grief yet, right?
I went in and didn’t even receive a greeting. The guy just looked at me then told me to give him a moment to which I told him to take his time. Once he finished, I was telling him my order and he couldn’t have been more irritated to be there listening to me. After each thing I ordered I got “anything else” in the most bored tone. Fine, whatever. My sandwiches were done then I remember my mom wanted her cut in three pieces. When I told the guy who took my order I got “WHICH SANDWICH?!” In the rudest tone. I truthfully didn’t think I asked for much. The man making the sandwiches cut it and I said thank you and only received a gruff “uh huh”.
If you can’t even provide the most basic service of a greeting, quit. If you hate your job that much, quit. No one if forcing you to be there. At least smile. It’s safe to say, I will never be returning to that location. They’re big...
Read morePeople have been writing poor reviews in regard to the terrible management at this location for a year, and it’s still horrible. The owner operator of this location is trashing the Jimmy John’s name but I guess corporate doesn’t care? It’s rare to hear a greeting when you walk in, employees are rarely in any sort of uniform, lunch time is a complete disaster and it seems like no one has any idea what’s going on, consistently out of major items such as BREAD or TURKEY (lmao, you’re a sandwich shop; how can you run out of bread or turkey?), employees are rude and unfriendly, etc.
I won’t be back to this location until I start seeing some good reviews. Pub subs until then.
I doubt the owner reads these reviews and if they do, they obviously don’t care, but just in case: find me on social media and hit me up if you need any tips on how to properly manage a restaurant. I managed a Firehouse Subs in Valdosta throughout college as a 20 year old with zero experience and no interest in business or hospitality and it absolutely thrived. It’s just not...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of watching an employee and who we presume was a manager arguing, screaming, and cussing. Then the manager ended up sitting the bags of food he was fixing to deliver on the trash can, where one ended up falling on the floor, to go have a confrontation with the said employee in the back. Then the employee left yelling, cussing, and throwing stuff. Apparently they both cooled off, and he ended up clocking back in and getting back to work, and never washed his hands. While we ate, we watched the workers. Several walked in from outside, never washed their hands before handling food. A few walked out, came back in, never washed their hands. The lady working with the dough was playing on her phone showing another worker something on it, and never washed her hands before getting back at it. One went out, came back in, rubbed his face, touched other stuff, and never washed his hands. Actually, the entire time there, only ONE person washed...
