Reitz Union Food Court — Restaurant in Gainesville

Selection leaves a alot to be desired. Employee's are not friendly or helpful and actually act as if they hate their job. We used to enjoy eating on campus on Gamedays but this is no longer the way it is. The change in vendors has been horrible which in turn took what was decent food downhill with it. Management leaves a lot to be desired. They stand around doing nothing, they do not help out and actually seem to get in the way. The food well I am not quite sure what to call it. It is bland, no seasoning, usually cold, the staff can't keep up and the workers well they are the slowest I have ever seen. I actually watched two pizzas fall on the floor because the manager and the worker were to busy talking. Not good even on the best days! Swell location to relax and chill with friends while at UF. The Rietz has several floors, but for the average Joe you just have to worry about the ground and 1st floor. The ground level has a couple of dining establishments like the Wingzone and Subway. It also includes a barber shop and arcade room. The 1st floor features more eateries like Starbucks, Crotons, Panda Express, Wendy's, and Pollo Tropical.

Establishment operations hours needs to be confirm before venturing as they tend to be closed during certain times in the UF academic year. Also to add it's highly suggested to be avoided during student preview weeks, as incoming student would be conjesting the food courts and bookstore with...

Was on campus for a work lunch and decided to stop in. Such a pleasant atmosphere and very clean entering the buffet station was very clean. My coworker and I were one of the first to dig in. Salad and all the ingredients were fresh great options. The brisket was just delicious moist tender, and the flavors were spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed the menu posted today. It looks like they change daily and I picked one of the best days. All employees were very watchful making sure everything was cleaned and maintained in the dining area and buffet area.
