I had the best experience at one of your stores yesterday and I just wanted to RAVE on this particular person and location. I am currently traveling for work and have been in Gainesville, FL for almost a month now. My co-workers are VERY big coffee drinkers so we stop by a Starbucks location almost daily. Every time I have been to any Gainesville location the customer service has been great. Yesterday afternoon I was out running errands for my work and was asked to grab lunch for the entire office (all separate itemized receipts for each person for reimbursement) as well as make a Starbucks run. Ordering and picked up the food was nothing short of EXTREMELY stressful and a hassle. After I picked up our food I ran next door to Starbucks to grab everyone's drink orders. When I approached the counter the man behind the counter was extremely friendly and asked how my day was going. Jokingly I told him of my stressful food adventure and how I was actually excited to get off work for the day. The man asked for all of my separate orders and I gave him each individual order. He never once acted as I was a hassle or wasting his time. He then ask what I would be having and I explained I was not a coffee drinker. He asked if there was anything besides coffee on the menu I liked. I let him know that the Starbucks Black Shaken Iced Tea was my FAVORITE iced tea in the world! Right away he grabbed a cup and asked my name and began making my tea. I told him that was not at all necessary. He was beyond nice and said I deserved it for my crazy afternoon. This small act of kindness brightened my entire day and I just can’t thank Adam enough for his generosity! I just wanted to make sure the Starbucks Company was aware of the amazing experience I had from ADAM at the ARCHER STARBUCKS location in Gainesville, FL. Read moreI have never had a bad experience here, BUT today was horrible. I ordered ahead at 9:15, got there at 9:40, and my drink was not ready. It was a busy morning with many people inside and a long drive-thru, and I understand that, so I waited inside for 10-15 minutes. After that, I approached and asked staff on my order status, she told me to wait for another 15-20minutes. I waited and asked the staff again and stated that I ordered ahead an hour ago. She did not care less and told me to wait for another 15 minutes. I did wait until another customer asked his order status, and the employee said they are working on orders from 10:00. I had enough at that time and approached them again, showing my ordered placed since 9:15. The employee told me DO NOT SEE my order. She asked other employees and someone said she dropped one drink earlier and that might be mine. How can they drop a drink and not remake it? That's a horrible excuse. Read moreDescription: I'm not one to write reviews for places like Starbucks but I go here so much to study that it almost seems required. Every time I have been here, it's been a pleasant visit. The baristas are very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. I usually only order a small caramel iced coffee with half and half but it is always made the way I like it.
Food & Service: I've definitely been to nicer looking Starbucks before but this one does the job. I can usually find a place to study whether it be outside, at a small table, or the big table, although during the Fall and Spring it can get quite crowded and annoying when you can't find a place to study.
Final Thoughts: Overall, I don't see a reason why I won't keep coming here to get work done. My only complaint would be their hours go until midnight now instead of 1am and there aren't enough tables, but I don't think that's under their...
