Vendetti's food has always been awesome - my mouth is watering just thinking about their Emilia-romana ravioli. It is exceptional. But I've found the service to be sometimes lacking.

The Emilia-romana ravioli is perfection. Cheese filled pillows of pasta swimming in a creamy marinara sauce with chicken and melted mozzarella on top. I want to try other things but I love this one so much I keep going back for it!

The Midlands chicken is perfection for a spring or summer day - grilled chicken with a light and lemony basil butter sauce over chicken, sun dried tomatoes and veggies.

The saltimbocca alla Romana is a heavier dish to warm you in the winter with prosciutto wrapped chicken, spinach and provolone cheese in a Madeira wine demo-glacé sauce.

The pizzas have a thin crust and high quality toppings.

My company has used them for catering three different times and they were terrific - responsive to communication and brought us great food that was well packaged and presented - we had pizzas, pastas, salad and bread. It's also a good value.

I've eaten in-house for a busy lunch and our server was attentive and efficient and our food came out quickly so we were able to get in and out and back to work expediently. And, I've grabbed food to go a few times and the portions are always generous and well packaged!

Then I ate there for dinner on a Monday night with my family and the experience was totally different. I've been telling my husband he needed to try Vendetti's for a year so I was really excited to take him. There was just one server and she was completely disinterested in taking care of our party of four and we were the sole table in the house.

She was frequently absent or sitting on her phone for most of the meal. She told us, upon bringing us our cheese bread appetizer, that she had dropped a piece on the floor as she was delivering it to us, so we were short some bread, then she walked away. Honestly, if she hadn't mentioned it we probably wouldn't have noticed but if you are bringing it up...maybe do something to amend your mistake? She just seemed completely disinterested. Husband was not very impressed and that stinks because I'd like him to want to take me to Vendetti's more often, lol!

One other thing to note, Vendetti's is connected to NOFO Brewery next door. They provide the bar for Vendetti's. NOFO is closed on Mondays so you can't get alcohol with your meal on Mondays (or, at least that's what that...

I really wanted to leave a great review after our first time visiting, but I just can't. We MIGHT give this place another shot, but it'll probably be a while before I can talk my husband into it. We came in on Father's Day evening and we were the only customers for at least 45 mins. You'd think that would mean impeccable service, but apparently not. Our server was inattentive and we had to get his attention more than once for refills and such. He was nice, but he was super distracted by his coworkers hanging out in the booth by the entrance the whole time. My husband scanned the QR code to order from NoFo and after about 20 mins the server came over and told us NoFo was closed. So now we just have to watch our bank account and make sure we get our refund. When we were ready to leave, we had all our plates stacked in the middle of the table waiting patiently for the check and finally just had to ask for it after about 10 mins of sitting there watching him socialize. He took our card and went to run it through the machine while we waited even longer, watching him goof off with a girl over there, looking at pics or something on her phone...holding our receipt the whole time.🤦🏼‍♀️ The food was okay. My kids got wraps and they both liked them-- they looked good to me, decent sized. But the chips were stale and my daughter obviously got the bottom of the bag of chips because she had about 3 full size chips and the rest were crumbs. I got a reuben, which I've been on the hunt for for a while now (Atlas had the BEST but they took them off the menu), but was kinda disappointed. The meat had lots of tough/stringy parts and the butter on the bread was really salty. It came with a handful of fries, which were okay, just a sad sized serving. My hubby ordered a side of fries which consisted of the exact same amount that was on my plate. 4 bucks for a literal handful of fries. He also got wings...and THOSE, now those might just be what draws us back to Vendetti's. The wings were seriously perfect. Like, I can't complain at all. So anyway, not all is lost. I know where to get good wings and maybe if we get NoFo first I'll have a little more patience for a distracted server and average...
