Freddy's Pasta and Pizza — Restaurant in Gaithersburg

Stopped by here after seeing pizza delivered while visiting Herbology. They ordered it due to positive Yelp reviews. I considered it due to positive Google reviews. I didn't go. I decided to fix that since it is on the way home. I am glad I did. The chicken parmesan sub is delicious. The sub roll is nothing special but the chicken is fantastic. It is cut into just the right size pieces and covered in a beautiful golden breading with incredible flavor. Personally, I am a fan of a bit of char on tips/ends of the cuts of my chicken and this did not disappoint. Don't be confused and read that as this was burnt. It isn't. Not even close. It is cooked on that cooktop just right. The marinara is is good but I am picky / blessed to be married to a stellar cook with a culinary background. The real gem of Freddy's is the staff. The sandwich looked far better whole and uneaten but I was on a mission to eat. The card reader wasn't working properly for my credit card due to some Citibank nonsense that they couldn't sort out. I was treated respectably by the staff, who just wanted me to go home and eat before it got too cold. Citibank transferred me for 20 minutes and asked the staff to keep trying as they verified I am in fact me and unblock my card. This course of action had Citibank sending message after message and email after email as they are in the phone and it is getting declined and they are telling me they see it but can't stop it from happening but they now do believe I am who I am and they will fix any autopay issues (comically to Google along others). Meanwhile, Freddy's acted like a good neighbor treats another. I feel bad for taking up the table so long while they were busy cooking and sending out their amazing food. I am in fact a neighbor. Pros: The food was absolutely delicious. I got a cheese pizza & fries. The employee at the register brought the food out to us by our car. The price is very fair for the quality of food I got. The wait was a little long BUT it's not a problem since the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The pizza was outstanding. Amazing crust, the cheese and sauce worked perfectly. My buddy got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing! The employees were very genuine. They weren't overly enthusiastic but still delivered nice service without being over the top.

Cons: The parking was not great. There's a tiny little lot in the back, thankfully we came at a time that wasn't busy so we found a spot no problem but I don't know where I'd park during a busy time. The actual establishment is on a slope. The parking is on the lower end and we had to walk up a little hill, which wasn't a problem for me and my friend, but for older customers, especially those with difficulty walking, this might be an issue.

All in all, this is a great place to eat and I will absolutely be coming back. One of the best pizza places in the area...

Forget Dominos and Pizza Hut. Freddy's has THE BEST pizza in Montgomery County. It's the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. The sauce tastes homemade. The crust is a perfect combination if chewiness and crispiness. The part that impresses me the most is that when the pizza comes to your door, it's HOT and Fresh--it's as if the pizza came out of the oven and was delivered immediately. The cannolis are also amazing.

Freddy's also stands by its product. Last night when I got my pizza, it looked like it had been droppped because all the cheese and toppings had slid to one side. Not only that but my cannolis looked like they had been dropped because the filling was all over the side of the container. I called and spoke to a manager and she apologized profusely had a new pizza and new cannolis delivered to my house without question or argument. When the driver got to the house, he had me check to make sure that my pizza and cannolis were perfect.
