Osaka — Restaurant in Gallatin

I don’t ever rate or post reviews but tonight was extremely bad service.

It Took 30 min to have our ordered taken after being seated. Then another hour to get our appetizer! Several plates were brought to our table that weren’t ours. We had to ask for the sake we ordered and it was brought to the wrong table twice. After almost 2 hours of waiting and being overlooked we still hadn’t received our main dish.. we had been patient and understanding since they were busy and Probably short handed. But when people walk in after you and get served before you all while u have waited for nearly 2 hours it’s no longer about being patient. It was time to speak up and leave. As we did!

But not before they expected us to pay for the meal we didn’t get. We offered to pay for the items we did get but requested the main dish be removed. They acted like we were the ones being unreasonable.

Visited this place tonight and me and my wife ordered two sushi rolls and a orange chicken dish. After almost 2 hours waiting we finally received our sushi rolls, we decided to forgo the main dish and just leave. exiting we pointed out that we never received or our dish and that tables around us got their food including the same dish that we had ordered, the young lady acted like she was doing us a favor by not charging us for a dish that we did not even receive. The service was horrendous we waited so long for simple things, are sushi rolls sit in their window for a very long time before they finally decided to bring it. Our main course they had forgot I had ordered. My suggestion is if you want to be treated fairly at this restaurant for poor service forget it. They're going to charge you for their mistake no matter what! We will never eat here again and my suggestion to anyone is to bypass this door and go...

Go for the Cheese Crab (aka crab rangoon), then order one thing you've never tried. I mean, why is there not a line OUT THE DOOR to get into this place? People should be holding little buzzer that light up and vibrate when their table is ready! Gallatin must be asleep! WAKE UP! New Courthouse, hospital/medical mall just blocks away and yall aren't beating down the door of Osaka?! The portion of Chicken Katsu was enough to feed at least 2 people, more if they're on a GLP-1. The fried rice is fried, flavorful and yet tender, not overcooked. Chicken katsu was golden-perfection with mouth watering sauce nearby. The miso soup was a perfect ratio of tofu to broth. Japanese beverages served ice cold and attentive staff who, albeit soft spoken, were there anticipating every need.
