Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Gallatin

This will be my last and final visit to the Zaxbys Gallatin location. The quality of the food was very poor. I used to love going to this location but as of about 1 year ago the food has gone downhill. It used to be good. I waited over 30 mins for fresh food. The food was overcooked. My traditional wings was very dry and tough and the fries was very crisp and hard. I gradually stop going to the Gallatin location thinking that the food might go back to how it used to be. Today was my first time visiting them in about 3 months. I started to go to Subway or McDonald's for my lunch. I should of went with my first instinct. The food keep getting worse each visit. I will not be going back. I'm going to have to make time to go out of my way and drive 35 mins to the Hermitage location. Atleast I will have the peace of mind of knowing that my food will be fresh and cooked the right way. I don't even have to request it at the Hermitage location it's automatic. Super inconsistent service. Some days it's great and fast and you get what you ordered. However, I'd say roughly half of my visits end up with me pulling ahead and sitting for a while just to STILL find something wrong when I get home. If you ask them to swap the cole slaw with anything, even if the drive-thru worker confirmed it and it was on your receipt, most of the time it'll still be cole slaw. Same with any extra sauces (that they seem to never forget to CHARGE you for). Even when they do get everything correct, quality still varies a lot. Sometimes the chicken is really dry, sometimes the tenders are miniscule, sometimes the whole plate (chicken, fries, AND toast) is just way too oversalted. If you order the cheese bites, you might get a container-full or you might get less than 10. (they also tend to taste like whatever else was cooked in that fryer; cheesecake bites, shrimp, etc.) If Gallatin ends up with a Raising Cane's, Slim Chickens, or really any other tender place, it'll...

I stopped here after work to pick up dinner for my family and was very disappointed. We typically frequent here during lunch hours but I would not recommend getting dinner from here. Literally wasted $20 on food, to turn back around and spend more money to pick up dinner elsewhere. The chicken was burnt and was too hard to eat along with the fries being very stale. I understand at night employees are ready to start closing everything down to get out of there faster but literally it look like someone just threw whatever in a box and handed it out. We ordered a #8 meal which was boneless wings and then a #4 meal that was traditional wings. Not only was the chicken old but they gave us 2 boneless meals.
