I recently moved here from Chicago, and before I left, I purchased a mattress that ended up not being the right fit. While the person who helped me in Chicago (with 15 years of experience at Mattress Firm) was knowledgeable, Joel completely surpassed my expectations with his insight, honesty, and attention to detail.

He’s been with Mattress Firm for about six years and is incredibly well-versed in all things mattress-related. I honestly wish I had met him before buying my first one. Thankfully, Mattress Firm has a trial period where you can exchange your mattress if it’s not the right fit—and I’m so grateful I found Joel to help me through that process.

From the moment you walk in, Joel greets you with kindness and professionalism. He never hovers or pressures you, and he’s totally fine with you coming back multiple times to test things out (I did!). I had narrowed it down to four options, and within five minutes, Joel helped me confidently choose the right one.

He’s passionate about helping people find the right mattress and it shows—he told me he’s never had a customer come back unhappy, and I believe it. On top of that, Joel’s just a genuine, down-to-earth guy. He’s not only great at his job, but also just a good person. Sometimes I’d even drop by just to say hi or chat—he gives great movie recommendations too!

Excellent experience with Sam and Austin!! We were promptly greeted by Austin. He and Sam were with other customers, but that was no problem at all...gave us a few min to browse the Tempurpedic selection. Sam finished up first and came our way. This is our largest mattress purchase and she made it a breeze! She is extremely friendly and down to earth. I typically lump any furniture sales people in the same category as car sales people. This was NOT the case here. Sam provided detailed explanations of the Tempurpedic sleep systems and answered all of our questions without skipping a beat. Sam brought her A game, but it was effortless. She was even great with our 2 children! We were fortunate enough to conversate with Austin a bit as well, which was great. What else would you need? The prices were excellent, financing was super simple, and the team delivered customer service in spades. Thanks for showing our new-to-Tennessee family...

In the summer of 2019, we purchased a mattress and bed frame from Mattress Firm in Gallatin, Tennessee. The salesperson was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Unfortunately, that was the end of our good experience. The delivery people apparently did not know how to set up the bed frame. It kept spreading apart. It wasn't fastened together. They somehow rammed the frame into a wall outlet and broke the cover, completely. We were very disappointed in the quality of the mattress! We tried two and are now in the process of looking elsewhere for a mattress. The frame is of very poor quality. A couple of the supports under the frame bent. (We are not skinny, but also not obese.) My husband tried to bolt them upright but they kept bending. We just purchased a much sturdier frame from D. T. McCall and Sons. Wish we had gone there in the...
