Mariscos Guamuchil — Restaurant in Galt

THERE WAS GLASS IN MY FOOD! I stopped at their stand setup outside the building that serves as asada, chicken, and al pastor.

We stopped while traveling, ordered to go and started eating when we got back on the freeway. I bit into something hard and when i pulled it out it out it was glass.

When I called the store and asked about the stand everything was fine, like they were affiliated, until I mentioned the issue. Another lady got on the phone and said they are not associated and would not give me info. She told me I need to call them directly to file a claim.

I have no interest in a claim, but wanted to notify them so they could throw out the food before it hurts someone.

I did get them to take down my number and pass it on to them. The stand called and I told them to throw out the food used to make my order. They asked for a picture first! Sent them a picture but didn't seem like they wanted to...

Love love love the shrimp tacos! Fresh and rich, I'm not sure, but they may cook the shrimp in butter. They are so good you start craving them again a day after you eat them. If you are travelling to Lake Tahoe and you want to have lunch this place it's unique and delicious. It's a small fish restaurant serving incredible affordable and most of all delicious fish meals.
