It was the most horrible service I have ever gotten in years I went thru the drive thru the worker acted like she couldn't hear me I asked for no salt on the fries I ordered with a double meat burger and medium Coke zero paid went the next window to get food waited all for the fries to have salt on them , mind you I have underlying health issues where I can't have it so I kindly let them know that the manager came and said she cooked the fries and it was no salt on them so I showed them from my fingers that it was salt and she continues to argue with me hostily and calling me a liar and stated lowly that we wanted something free and the began to get upset because of the insult the calling me a liar wasting my time gas money and breath so then after going back and forth with her to just drop me fresh unsalted fries she said I would have to get off her time in the window and park me in a waiting area because corporate office could see their times so she was going to park me and that it would be 3min so we waited 5more minutes and a male employee came out to my window and asked us to give the other fries back but I explained that I had given them away to a homeless gentleman that was loitering outside of there and he told me that he didn't think the manager was going to give me anything because I gave the other fries away and the other worker said keep em all they were going to doo was throw them away anyways so that's why I gave them away...So then I got out to go on which I didn't want to because I was already I'll just wanted a lil snack but by this time my appetite was lost, my burger was cold so I go in to ask managers name and to get a refund the manager was rude said they were not going to refund me or give me anything back I tried to explain my food was not right from the start plus she parked me had me waiting all to say she changed her mind, So then I'm upset she had on no badge and refused to give me her name and stood in front of her coworkers and taunted me so I demanded my money back and a arguement started because she kept provoking me I felt like she kept saying for me to leave and stated I wanted something free and I lost it because she was very combative, created a hostile environment, was trying to rob me, and to put the cheese on the cracker called the police on me after provoking me and after they were on there way she gave me the money lied about the call and the reason she called I started recording for my protection at that point I grabbed my money and right as I'm leaving she's on the phone lying to the dispatcher saying we were trying to run we were not . I was simply trying to difuse the situation set outside and calm down so long story short she told the officers to put a trespassing waning she didn't want me to be able to come back to the McDonald's anymore they stated I could fight it because it seem like I was right but they reserved the right to refuse service to anyone even if they just didn't like me they could do this if they wanted to. I'll never go there unless corporate does something about this certain manager but I'm glad the officers were nice because that was uncalled for to call the cops over a mistake you made them tried to get me arrested and banned from the establishment for absolutely nothing wasted a lot of peoples time and money it's some evil people working in fast food beware.!!! P. S. I will be notifying corporate as well this was very uncalled for and embarrassing and a little racist I left a lot out what was said but this was the majority and the out,out worst experience ever! Shame on you McDonald's on 53rd and Broadway...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. The whole visit was terrible, especially the service. We ordered through the mobile app and waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes before we drove up to give our code. Then, after giving them our mobile app code, we proceeded to wait another 20 minutes before we got to the window to receive our receipt. Then, we went to the next window to receive our food but had to wait another 15 minutes before someone came and opened the window to talk to us and confirm our order. After confirming our order, they proceeded to close the window and didn’t return back for another 10 minutes but only to ask us again what our order was and told us to wait because it’s still being made. Which is ridiculous for the amount of time we already had wait before even getting the food. After we told them our order again, they told us to park in the curbside pick up spot and wait for another 15 minutes so we ended up telling to cancel our order. They said okay but we have to receive any type of cancellation notification so we called the store and some female employee answers and proceeds to tell us the order was cancelled and mid conversation, she hangs up on me without letting me finish what I had to say. When we tried calling back, they put us straight to voicemail multiple times. We called the customer service support number and they proceeded to tell us that the restaurant never cancelled our order but instead mark the order as complete even though we never received our food. After telling us they would cancel the order, they proceed to to lie and continue to take our money without giving us anything in return except horrible service. Read more'Deyonce' is about as rude and ignorant as they come. I used the mobile order app last weekend because we were on our bike and it's just easier than having to annoy people in line who can't hear over the sound of the exhaust, since they closed the lobby an hour early during THE LONESTAR RALLY, the new curbside mobile ordering made sense. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for our order and I finally had enough and called them and they didn't even bother to SEE if they had any curbside orders. This 'Deyonce' chick tells us to 'drive thru'. Uh, if I wanted to drive thru, I would have but I chose to use the mobile app as a courtesy to others. This was the first time I had used the app and I thought it was cool new way McDonald's is trying to step it up BUT... 'Deyonce' (who is the manager) had not the foggiest idea of what 'mobile curbside ordering' is. I placed my order through the app (which only recently ironed out some pretty big kinks and was useless up until a few weeks ago), paid for it through the app and then sat there waiting for an order that they never checked. When she told me to 'drive thru' after I explained why I didn't 'drive thru' to BEGIN with, I thought this chick was screwing with me. When I realized she was actually serious, I was just dumbfounded -just like she apparently was. Needless to say, we left without our order or money (and they kept my free 5th frappe). Not only would I never go to this location again, I'd love to meet up with miss 'Deyonce' and her mouth somewhere without golden arches... Seriously, this is McDonald's, take it...
