The pizza here is very good. It's real New York style pizza and the owner is from New York because I have personally met him. Really nice guy. I have some issues about my latest trip ordering a sub sandwich. The ingredients for the sandwich were clearly laid out on the menu and I told them I didn't want mayonnaise and they gave me what I wanted except for one thing. The sandwich had a lot of mustard on it and mustard wasn't even one of the ingredients on the menu and I never even mentioned the word. Despite the enormous amount of mustard mixed with other wet ingredients like house Italian dressing, the sandwich wasn't bad by any means but it was very, very messy due to the mixture of the liquid ingredients. I went through 8 or 10 paper towels eating the sandwich and that's not an exaggeration. I would never order another sub here unless I was very clear on what I was getting but that's not even the worst part. It's understandable that a restaurant may have to increase their prices with the cost of Labor and supplies. However, it's not understandable why the menu is not only wrong on Google maps but it's actually wrong inside the restaurant on the very menu on the wall and on the one they hand you! The sub I ordered was supposed to be $8.25 and when she rang it up with tax it was over $11. I asked about it and she said the prices had gone up to $9.99 for the large sub. There was no mention of this anywhere when I was placing the order but only when I got out my credit card. The menu should be updated immediately when the prices go up to avoid accusations of bait and switch. I drove to this particular restaurant because I wanted to find a sub under $10 and I ended up spending over that anyway. Food...
Read moreFirst off, this is NOT NY pizza. It tastes like someone took a trip to NYC a decade ago and gathered some ingredients from the clearance section of WalMart and then tried to unsuccessfully recreate NYC style pizza.
Pizza is soggy, undercooked, not properly cut, the pepperoni has no taste and if you told me the liquidy oily cheese was actually some sort of tasteless vegan cheese product I would believe you. Even the undercooked crust is completely lifeless and could have been swapped out with cardboard.
I have a home a mile away and had hoped this place would knock it out of the park but it’s actually so bad that I’m throwing the entire pizza away after choking down one slice.
I am super lenient when it comes to rating pizza so I am incredibly perplexed at the reviews this place has. Maybe I have a rare horrific pizza, but given the utter lack of taste in the ingredients I doubt it. It just tastes incredibly cheap and low quality.
For tourists this is a fine spot with friendly enough staff, a clean dining room, and a good menu… but if you’re a local looking for quality pizza to eat every week or two...

These pizzas are huge. Which is good I guess when you change $20+/pie. I'm really not sure what all the good reviews are about. This pizza is below Costco level. Look at the pictures and tell me honestly if that's appealing to you. I love a good floppy NY style pizza but this just isn't it. Soggy in the middle and very bland even with Pep or sausage.
Eating it I thought it's like they pre-make a bunch of cheese pizzas and then add whatever toppings in real time and microwave them before sending them out. Pizza was barely warm despite only being 1.17 miles away from the restaurant.
The Caesar Salad had about 1000 croutons on it. The picture is after I finished the salad and gave a handful of croutons to my wife. You can tell they're from a box. You're literally in the business of baking bread (with sauce and cheese), and you're telling me you can't even make your own croutons?
I wish I had ordered Dominos, and I really don't...
